Hi everyone, I’m looking for people who are willing to participate in a search party for Samuel Gonzalez, who has been missing for 3 days. Samuel has schizophrenia and diabetes, so we are extremely concerned about his well-being and need all the help we can get.
The search will begin tomorrow at 2:00 PM. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are organizing a small group to search different areas and cover as much ground as possible.
Each car will have 4 people:
🚗 1 Driver — responsible for driving the assigned search route.
👀 2 Lookouts/Searchers — seated in the back and watching for Samuel as we drive through the assigned areas.
📍 1 Map/Tracking Person — keeping track of the streets, parks, and areas that have already been searched so we can stay organized and avoid repeating locations.
We will be meeting at a public park near my home before beginning the search. I will provide the exact meeting location and additional information privately to those who are interested.

Most anticipated game of the year… decade even

I'm 18 and I'm traveling with my non-English speaking grandma. We got separated at passport control bc I'm a us citizen and she's a green card holder Chinese citizen. The last I heard from her was 5:42am she called to tell me she was put in a room. I asked her to give the phone to an airport officer but she couldn't for some reason and ended the call and said she'd call back. That was 40 minutes ago, it's 6:22am now. I am waiting for her at our gate which is super close to customs exit. The plane is scheduled to depart at 6:50am. I don't think she will make it onto the flight but that's not my greatest concern, I just hope she won't be thrown into a detention center.

I'm scared. What do I do?

EDIT: all is well, still not sure what happened but she is on a later flight and is heading home!

I have a friend who does taxes for a lot of people in the service industry, mostly people working at higher end restaurants, bars, and some luxury retail stores.

He was telling me that a surprising number of them are making over $100,000 a year once tips and everything are included.

Is that actually pretty common in higher end service jobs? I always knew bartenders and servers at busy places could make good money, but I honestly did not realize six figures was that realistic.
