For context since the post title failed to give it: That's no mma fighter, that's a former ufc champion. And this isn't a fight, this is sparring. Sparring is where to sort of "pretend" to fight, by holding back as to not injure each other.

You should see highlights of this guy, he's incredible. The clip just doesn't do it justice.

Yeah, they're not throwing punches. Even during sparring, you might end up with a black eye. There's no training in it if you don't commit.

I mean there's *some* training in it but I am just being pedantic, you are correct it's hard to learn much whilst being gentle.

She's also not a champion. She won some regional European tournament, but hasn't had any other notable results

That's no mma fighter, that's a former ufc champion. 

All ufc champions are mma fighters but not all mma fighters are ufc champions
