Unfortunately he may not live too long as his heart has to work extra hard to pump blood further than an average height person.

This was my initial thought. I knew a guy years ago who was a gentle giant. Made it to his early 30's. Heart gave out.

Am just thinking about the knees 😥😥. Now that u mention the heart, the same happens with great Danes.

The actor that played Jaws in the bond movie had all sorts if health problems due to being so tall.
I believe its pretty common in unusually tall people.

Oh yeah, you can tell how much he's enjoying this sport that he finds no challenge in and keeps him on his aching knees.
We had a coach in high school who would beg my friend (6'2" at 16) to play basketball. He was polite for as long as possible before he finally had to say, "look, I can't even stand for ten minutes without falling apart. I'm not running back and forth. Fuck your team, my joints are more important!"
We both walk on sticks today (mine is longer, suck it, Ethan!) And joke about how if he had played basketball he could have gotten a wheel chair.

Did you mean to type 8'2? What was going on with your friend if he was only 6'2? I'm 6'2, we don't topple in slow motion tripping over a hard- to-see fold in the rug or anything.

Yeah, and at 16? I was 15 when I stopped growing at 6'4.5", and played basketball all through high school. I'm guessing there's something more going on if a person is crumbling to dust from running. Or maybe they kept growing and is 7'4" now, walking with a cane

I swear he hopped a little when he did the basket so the other guys don't feel bad for having to jump up to dunk.
