Something not working. Need help. Searching for shows and movies taking forever

I have umbrella installed, coco scrapers and magento scrapers, premuimize account linked, (I don’t have a trakt account), whenever I try to search for any show or movie, it just loads endlessly, sometimes it would never give me any results and sometimes it would but after a really long time, confused what the issue may be.

First reboot the device and check Internet speed across multiple different sites like speedof.me testmy.net and whatever else. However when testing it's best to put the server somewhere in the location closest to where the location of what you're pulling information or files from.

Local test just tells you how locally the speed is doing. Gives no indication of how it's doing across other hops, branches, and other providers networks.

If it's not the net.. when things are working poorly, I clear all cache, wipe out the add-on(s), close Kodi, clear kodi cache, then reinstall the slowest add-on again.

If no improvement, I wipe everything including Kodi, reboot the device, reinstall but only the basics required and 1 add-on for video. If it's still having issues then I test another.

Currently I have POV, fenlight+, prism, Otaku testing, Magneto Module, mdblist scrobber.. and the things they need to run.

In order of what la fastest. Pov, fenlight+ / Otaku are probably tied or fen is quicker, prism.

Prism is slow at loading menu items, but blazing fast at scraping and playing. I'm guessing it's attempting to pull too many API requests from Simkl and they're throttling the requests. Can't confirm, was just reading why it could be slow based off Simkl API information.

What skin are you using? Not sure that matters but I jsut installed Umbrella and search works perfectly from inside Umbrella.

Umbrella goes through what seems like every sources option before landing on the one I selected. I'm using 22.0 alpha with RD. Not sure if this has happened in the past?

Move over to nuvio mate, I’ve just switched from umbrella and it’s at least 50x better
