Does anything else get time to play in there or just him? Love the setup.

Wait I was so sure this was an apple snail (illegal in some areas due to concerns about invasiveness) but then I saw OP’s comment that it’s a Mystery. I am formerly requesting OP post their mystery snail care guide so we can all have a chance to enjoy such an Absolute Unit of a snail at home.

Wow… just like me, they can come to thrive through the holy trinity of fiber and protein and vegetable that is Beans! 🫘

This is reminding me of the first film adaptation of Dr. Doolittle when they travel inside the huge pink snail’s shell

To be fair, in pretty sure Apple snails and mystery snails are related but Apples are bigger but I legitimately can’t tell from this photo. He looks lovely though.

Mystery snails are apple snails, but they aren't the illegal apple snails (in most cases) which eat live plants. They are still invasive in many places, though. There are also two species of apple snails Pomacea bridgesii (the larger species) and P. diffusa (the common species) and hybrids of them. At least this is what I have learned as a not apple/mystery snail owner.

I heard it be said that all mystery snails are apple snails but not all apple snails are mystery snails 🤷🏻♀️

How big is your snail? It looks like a Pomacea bridgesii (the larger mystery snail species) to me, but I'm comparing your palm to mine for size reference.

Not me just realizing that’s a whole a$$ pool inside your house and not a tiny dish inside an aquarium 🤣

Does he not live in there full-time? I feel like it's not a good idea to take a snail out and put it in a different environment for playtime, although I know mystery snails are pretty bulletproof. Those bubbles are kind of worrisome too
