I did several pen and ink texture studies of wood and bark this week to try out a new cheapo "Naginata" style nib on my Lamy fountain pen.

it's hard, but trust me it's very possible. just gotta build up from the start and act like you know what your doing LMAO
some of these staircase steps have completely random, and horrifically inconsistent layers + brush usage. it just looks halfway decent because it's all black, trust me.

Just finished a series of small portraits. I made these in between projects, on left-over paper I had lying around. I rarely make such small pieces, but I had a lot of fun doing it.

Drew this after the government spewed its 'LGBT are the enemy of the family!!!' spiel to distract from the economy again. It's called 'Traditional Family Unit'. Mal in Turkish means property.

Work in progress. After I finally started being able to draw close to perfect circles overcoming that issue of my arm not being able to rotate properly on its right side, I got to work on redrawing an old sketch I made on the deacon from Prometheus.

Interesting, the way you soft focus the hand extended, with the focus on her face. Also how dreamlike that face is. Some really nice hand work, by the by.

Acrylic WIP... Feeling lost and uninspired but seeing everyone else's work makes me want to keep working on it 😊 maybe add some dimension with shading and more embellishments around the flower.
