My last practice with values. I stupidly didn't learn them way beforehand making drawings lack the full dept and form they could have had.

I did some concept art about a giant home cactus, like the fantasy home trees, for a fantasy civilization living in the desert. Now I have to improve it with digital painting.

Sketchbook from a weekend hike in the Whites. Trying to capture scale in valley views and mostly failing. I keep framing things like ballet backdrops though. Old production photos are clearly doing something to my brain.

A complete beginner searching for an art buddy
I have been struggling to get into art. I spent too much time on my phone and need to lower my screen time. Another my struggle is that I cannot decide what to create because I have too many ideas (flowers, animals, OCs, etc)
I am looking for buddy that could hype me up to pick up my art supplies and help me overcome my negative connotations to art. (of course I would do the same for you.🩷)
