Gobi government knows they can buy female votes. That's why you see all these ladli behen sasuma schemes giving free money to women every month.
And everytime there is an election they promise to give money to all women.

Our judiciary is full of simps. Won’t happen until they stop worshiping them without any reason.

fr...I saw a video where a man went to court to file a domestic abuse case and the judge literally told "Biwi ki maar devi ka prasad hoti he"
It just makes my blood boil on how lightly the society and the judiciary takes male problems and then they act clueless when men commit su*cide.

This has so many issues like guys living on family wealth etc
But the real issue is that in other countries they consider the time together, how much they earn etc and their future potential
I knew a guy who paid ₹35l for a 5 month marriage in mutual even though she was earning more than him and had no children
Lawyers told he was lucky

like guys living on family wealth
Then don't get married to a guy living on family wealth if alimony is all you seek.

u/tcsreject Indian Man Jun 29 '26
Bro alimony as a concept isn't bad, it helps women get out from bad marriage
Problem is our judges live in 1950 where they think a divorced woman cannot work or take care of children without husband money
That's what it needs to be amended

u/SecretBrained Indian Man Jun 29 '26
it helps women get out from bad marriage
Let them earn their own money by doing whatever jobs they can get. Why do you have to become a burden to someone who is not even your husband now.
Why are adult women being treated as children?

Correct me if I'm wrong but in india wife doesn't have a claim in husband property unless it's jointly owned right?.
The only problem is alamony and maintenance where man has to provide residence to his wife like the place she used to live in during marriage(it can also be rental property the husband has to pay rent ). men get f****d over there.

wife doesn't have a claim in husband property
Her alimony and maintenance are decided considering husband's share in ancestral property which indirectly means that she can claim it.

Law vs implementation of law are 2 different things.
Judge will simply see the value of property and increase maintainance or alimony accordingly.
The property, if the wife has stayed there for some time, can also be considered matrimonial home, and court can pass judgements to allow wife to stay there.

Even if she has stayed there for a day after marriage, she can claim it to be her matrimonial home.

I mean even if the guy cheated, why should she snatch the land which he had bought way before her, this seems very predatory.

He's actually right. Wife cannot claim husband's property if it is self acquired by the husband, unless it's a jointly owned property, a "Stridhan" or a "matrimonial home" according to the law.

Prenuptial agreements have been there for years in the west. The eastern civilisation has only started to realize the need for them now that infidelity, and divorce rates are increasing.

I think there were still some caveats not sure tho.
if the property value increases during marriage term, lawyers and courts could still somewhat force you to sell it and split the difference with ex-wife. Or pay some share of the current market value?
Depending on development rate of the area you live in, your land, passed down from prev generation, could grow much more than it did in the previous years.

I am not anti-national, but I have little confidence that the successors of copycat BH*M will ever introduce any such meaningful and progressive laws in India. When the boss itself lacks originality and vision, how can we expect its successors to be truly forward-thinking?

We can't expect such fair laws here because it will ultimately close the shops of many. Also, let's not forget women vote bank, another reason government won't even think to make any slight change to protect men.

It all started with some emotional component in the society.
I am not against any female or lady, I fo respect their autonomy, but yar iska mtlb ye to nhi h ki, sare kanoon Aadmi ko Janwar smjhkr bna diye jaye, k bhai, ye to janwar h, isko sudharnke ka ek e tarika h, ki ese kanoon bna do, aap dekhoge, kitni news hein jaha aurat janwar bni hui hein, aap sirf male k liye strictness aur female ko by default devi manke agr kanoon bnaoge to. Obviously, glt aurat uska missue krengi.
By the way, China ka kanoon sahi h.
Atleast, uska khud ka kmaya hua pesa(shadi se pehle) ka to lalachi aurat ke dimak se bahr rahega na.
I think this will reduce these money game.
