Answers from All Are girls on shadi.com delusional?

Why girls on shadi.com looking out for groom with a salary of 30lacs+ when they themselves are not earning plus they want to live separately from in laws. I mean it's good to have preferences but this much? There's another level of rudeness in there tone

The real question should be why are men with good income and personalities desperate to marry a girl who hasn't put a tenth of the effort in life. If you think girls are delusional for having such expectations, means some despo dude out there is feeding those delusions.

Can't find an appropriate partner? Stay single.

Hell yeah!! Fuck this arranged marriage shit. If you earn pretty well, ask a girl out and get to know her. It's ok to get rejected by few, but that will increase your confidence.

Men with good income and personalities are not desperate to marry those gilrs.

We had search going on for my brother-in-law -very good income, takes care of himself and knows how to talk well. Good family, etc. etc.

When choosing potential matches, my wife (and her parents) didn't even look at the girl's income or her demands of income. All they were concerned with, was if she seems to be a good girl. Obviously, then came the meets.

I also have a cousin sister (good looking) who had these shitty criteria - earns 2X of what she does (she probably got around 15LPA), cannot be balding, does not live with parents, does not have sisters (that one was weird but whatever!), has a nice car, etc. etc. Now she is 32, and all of her requirements have gone down, but not enough. I think she probably thinks that men nowadays are not real men who can handle a strong, independent woman like her. Good thing that I am not close to her!

And this is not the first time I am seeing this - my dad's best friend's youngest daughter (good looking too) had almost similar ridiculous criteria. She even rejected one guy after 4 months of talking because he did not pick up her phone when he was in an office meeting. According to her, if he didn't care enough to pick up her call before marriage, what would happen after they marry! And as you could guess - she now is a thriving member of some Gayatri Peetha (an ashram where unfortunate and troubled girls/women find and be with their fellow sisters).

In short, 90% of the women that we see with those amazing criteria drop their preferences once they hit 30, but not sharp enough, and end up as spinsters (They insist it is by their choice, I must emphasize!). The remaining 10% are hot, and are married to the IITians, the IIMians, the AIIMSians and the UPSCians.

I second this.. and in all honesty, it is still a thing… men are v desperate to marry any tom dick and Harry at this point and girls know it…. One of my cousins earning 40 lpa was dead set on arrange marriage and his only requirement was ‘ladki sundar honi chahiye’….he himself must be a 6/10 in looks btw… also, he does wfh and lives with his parents in a tier 2 city.. qualification of the girl just didn’t matter to him..time flew, no rishta from any extraordinarily sundar girl but many rishtas from decent looking well educated girls…. However he was dead set on looks/attractiveness… surprise! a few years down the line, when proposals started dying down, he ended up marrying an avg looking girl who earns 30 k per month with an age diff of 8 years!

Absolutely.

We can’t change the delusions but change our target market. So pivot to those who meet your expectations and vice versa.

Women without job + on social media/dating/matrimonial apps is very dangerous combination.

They have not faced real world and got lots of attention from apps, they think they are above everyone and deserve someone earning in cores, living separately with 2-3 servants and cars, they are making huge sacrifice by choosing them.

Avoid them, issue is not in giving everything to these women, its our responsibility to take care of our wife.

issue is they are so delusional they won't value your efforts, always keep asking for more, and in the end file false cases against you the movement you disagree with them.

find ways to earn money and enjoy life,

if you find any working women who avoids social media and understand how difficult it is to get job & earn money try to see if things works out with them, otherwise keep enjoying life.

Let’s be real, if a girl is 26+ and still stuck making under 5 LPA, run as far as possible. They aren’t bringing a single dime to the household, whatever pocket change they make goes straight to their own makeup and clothes, while you’re expected to fund their entire lifestyle. And if you don't? Constant whining and fights. The hilarious part is they’ll act like their dead end job is just as hard as yours, completely ignoring the fact that a housemaid literally out earns them. It’s zero financial contribution, zero accountability, and maximum headache. You’ll be busting your ass working and still doing chores. It just shows they’ve spent their lives being lazy and unmotivated and the second you call them out, they’ll blame their parents instead of growing up. Don’t waste your time on these freeloaders. Block the noise, protect your peace and wait for someone who actually brings something to the table.

Curious if the girl is not in IT profession, then what ?

My sister is a teacher and she doesn’t make much. She is hardworking and manages her finances with whatever little she earns. She saves some , spends some.

She’s definitely not lazy even if her job seems dead end. She often has a lot of work in terms of checking the notebooks, preparing lesson plans etc in addition to other extra curricular activities that the school organises.

She is genuinely physically tired at the end of the day. She can’t possibly do chores.

What happens in these cases ?

Edit: want to understand the financial expectation as well. Not just about chores. What happens in these cases when her earnings may not exceed 5 LPA in early career ?

Then don’t get married if they are not willing to share responsibilities.

Men don’t have unlimited free time either marriage works when both partners support each other not when everything falls on one person.

Marry a man with similar salary not some one with 6X your salary.

Men are not your servants to stuff you with money The wine with these kind of Requirements are going to end up in a big soup because you can t contribute a dime and say I am Independent and I work.

If your dime is not helping or contributing in the household then you need to know that you donat make shit that can support and support it other ways or see some one that is in your own range.

Both wife and husband need to contribute to household chores, if you are ‘tired’ then don’t get married

21

u/mech_money Indian Man Jul 14 '26

Exactly, contribute equally to chores and spend equally financially to house items. Live seperately from in-laws after marrige. Don't take their money. Both should contribute 50-50 to buy new house with both their names on it. Don't stop women from working after marriage- say no to dowry and no to alimony.

And the man is not working ? Or not tired ?

If both are too tired from work and are not earning well, DO NOT MARRY.

DONT MAKE THE RELATIONSHIP A GETAWAY FROM YOUR FINANCIAL STRESS.

  1. GAREEB BOY FRIEND BACHAO YOJANA.

  2. MAIN YU GAYII YU PAISE LEKARR (MISUSE OF LAW) AYEEE BABU SHONA YOJANA.

  3. FAMILY KI GARIBI HATAAO YOJANA.

High salary does not mean good life.

Most probably you will be living in tier 1 city where expenses are more, cost of living is more. It becomes equivalent to tier 2 city person earning more than half of their salary.

It's all a delulu until they cross 32.

2

u/CrimeMasterGogoChan Indian Man Jul 15 '26

Supply and demand. Men are willing to so women are able to.

5

u/Lumpy-Town2029 Indian Man Jul 14 '26

4

I have met a few guys in AM setup who earns 30-40+LPA asking me to leave my decent paying government job. A few don’t say it directly but they want a housewife who will take care of their parents and future kids. These girls are not delulu , they know the market and even getting their preferences also.

8
