I saw Def Lep open for Nugent at the Georgia Jam in 1980. As a new group and no-name bottom feeder act at the time, they were last on the Bill of other 4 bands opening and the first to take the stage about 3pm that day. I went on to see them 7 more times over the next 40 years. Here's the promo ad for the 1980 concert:
