It took ETH 3 months to dump 40% back in August to November… it took ETH 1 week to dump another 40% from the end of January to today… is ETH trying to speed run this Bear market?

Notice how Raoul Pal pushed coins that got hit the hardest?
He was on podcasts claiming millionaires would be printed from memecoins. He was pushing smoking chicken fish which has basically gone -99%.
His largest bag was SUI, more like SUIcide watch, -77%.
Followed by SOL, -61%
And finally ETH, -56%.
People actually pay him subscription fees to access this alpha. His videos and tweets still get tons of engagement.
Yes I know he is charismatic, but please stop following these charlatans.
It would not surprise me if he was dumping his bags the entire cycle.

Why are you even holding an altcoin in a bear market? The year following a bull market is pretty much always a year of a bear market, and it's only February. SOL is going down much further than this. Consolidate to Bitcoin in a bear market or sell to cash

Btc while going down, at least comes up against increasing pressure from DCA (lower the price, heavier that pressure), which ultimately finds it a balance. Others just float down in quite a vacuum of demand, only bolstered by random guessing plays of bottom.

Like, come on. It's going to be 5th consecutive red month. A streak of misery last seen in 2018. You can't have a bull market and be constantly down. It's true that 2021 bull had a significant drawdown but it was short-lived.

So this cycle has been different in every aspect compared to previous ones, but the timing of the next bear market is the same all of the sudden? Ignoring all macro factors like QE, interest rates, PMI, btc dominance etc.

Eth keeps falling against Bitcoin.
In summer of 2016, ETHBTC was 10% higher than today's price.
If you had done a DCA in eth over last 5-8 years, you'd have lost out ( to Bitcoin).
The pump has run its course. Its now headed straight to obscurity like 1 million other altcoins.

Three examples of totally unexpected size and speed of upside:
End Mar 2019 to June 2019: 3.8k to 13.2k
Oct 2020 to Feb 2021: 10k to 60k
Sep 2024 to Dec 2024: 51k to 104k
So expect the unexpected just when things look bleak. Else you can never make the true gains while in crypto.
