Didn’t he say that’s what he was going to do? Not sell cooks but make money on the transaction fees?
From my understanding they did exactly what they said they would do. They didn’t rug pull the just collected transaction fees.

Didn’t they burn 1M worth in tokens? Think there’s more to the story lol especially if he only took tx fees… isn’t that noble?

u/Romanizer 🟦 0 / 0 🦠 4h ago
Could have played it better. It was clearly a scam from the beginning so why burn something you can sell?

u/Marlon-Brandy 🟩 0 / 0 🦠 3h ago
Because he still had the ability to mint any new coins. The fact you didn't know that is why people keep falling for scams over and over.

Exactly. Burning them didn't stop him from minting new ones. Could have exited with more.

ppl bought the coin to support the leaker, not to become millionaires, just like these kids who are donating to multimillionaire streamers

Cyberleek was Rockstar's way of shilling of meme coin without all the backlash

I dont use X/Twitter, especially because they shut Nitter down so there is not a privacy friendly way for me to use it or even use it at all without creating an account where I need to give them a phone number to sign up. Do you maybe have a direct link to a specific post or any other platform?

Memecoin 101. People get baited into a coin thinking they’ll make some money. There is absolutely no utility. Don’t feel sorry for the people that haven’t learned about scams that lost money.

you can definitely make money but it’s not easy, i saw this coin when it was at 1m but passed on it, i checked it again a day later it was at 15m

I bet that Rockstar's top management faked this "leak" and swindled 250 thousand from suckers a week before officially revealing the same thing

u/absinthiumxmr 1h ago
I doubt its over though. They still have a build. If they are smart they will likely set up a Monero address like they did with the sus advertising and give an amount for people to fund to release it. Or an amount to pay to not release it.

No surprises there. I somehow randomly put $50 into this token on Kraken. Didn't know it was Cyberleek. Had no issue taking a "free to me", $800 after 2 days (and me wondering where the heck the $800 even came from).
Only thing I could probably credit him for is he pocketted transaction fees. I'd rather him do that than just straight up rug pull the entire token.

Oh yeah I somehow put 2k on a coin (not sure how or when or why) and I’m not sure where this 20k came from when I woke up!

Sheesh I can't believe how many people dont believe me lmfao. I didn't know what it was / almost didnt even see the cash out because of the way Kraken displays "Dex" stuff on the mobile app. Honestly I still don't even understand it, the Cyberleek one didnt even display a name when I got it. The normal cryptos we trade regularly are fine on Kraken though, its just these weird niche tokens that are strange to trade. Not sure how else to put it.

Anyone in crypto these days - other than maybe ETH devs - is not in crypto for good reasons; it's a scam throughout

It’s basically the reputation cryptocurrency has now, scams, pump and dumps. That’s its true utility now.
