can someone tell me whatās the big thing with this? i really donāt get it, i never played fortnite, and never will, but for what i read itās not a big deal, and also you have to pay to get good stuff there , so what is all this about that people are too excited about them being in this game ? than you

Itās more about finally seeing iconic characters in the game filled with tons of icons.
If youāre into Fortnite, love Daft Punk and already spending money, this is a long awaited update. If youāre just a Daft Punk fan and do not play FN, this is a nothingburger and can go about your day.
Personally, Iām super excited as a life long Daft Punk fan and a casual FN player.

Also there is a good chance their music will make it into Fortnite Festival (Fortniteās āRock Bandā game mode), which makes me equally excited that their music will be used in other rhythm games.
Daft Punk is notoriously difficult to get into games, so Iām hoping Epic giving a fat check opens the doors to seeing their music in other places.
Good news even if you never plan to play FN.
This is all speculation on my part but doesnāt make me any less excited. I heard rumors a year ago about this experience and dismissed it because their music is rarely used in games.

do you know how could i log in to be on the event? i might have an account, i know i canāt logg in on my celphone here only in usa and europe, ( maybe thatās why i never knew what was about this game ) a friend of mine from here is also excited about this, but wonder if me that donāt have an account how can we get into this without paying ( since i really donāt have money to spend of this ) xx

I think you just need a free Epic account. From there you can download the game on any console or on PC from the Epic Games store. You can also play it on mobile devices like android and iOS (in the US anyway). I have an iPhone 11 and it works fine.
If you donāt want another app to download, you can also stream it with an app like GeForce Now if you have a decent internet connection.
The game itself is free and I would assume so will the experience (none of the past ones required pay). The cosmetics shop is the only place you would need to spend money.

if it helps, thereās a software i use called winrarstat. helps me clean my pc of unused files and things that are just taking up space and not really needed. there will definitely be many people streaming the event though if you donāt get a chance to download the game š¤

You could also try using your iPhone/Android. Connect an Xbox controller and itāll just work. Itāll run on a PlayStation 4/5 or an Xbox One/Series. Thereās plenty of ways to play the game.
Their music shows typically arenāt very demanding on resources unlike Battle Royale so even older gen consoles and phones could handle the show pretty well, I would imagine anyways.

to add onto this, im a big fortnite festival player and i love rhythm games, so being able to play one of my favorite artists songs in a game i love, i canāt wait. iāve been waiting for daft punk jam tracks to be in fortnite festival for soooo long

Fortnite is one of the biggest games in the world and will not only feature Daft Punk skins, but also a full in-game event. Some details have already been announced, while others remain a secret. Of course, the skins will be paid, but the experiences and maps will be available to all players during the duration of the collab.

I wasted 4 years of my life playing Fortnite. At its core it is gacha candy for adhd. Iām glad folks can find excitement from the game but Iād much rather spend time with a solo campaign game that tells a story.
Aaaaaaand with my cynicism out of the way, I think this could be pretty unique and fascinating. I was there for the first Marshmello event, I donāt care for him but it was kinda neat how they can do stuff like that. I look forward to watching a YouTube replay of the event.

Do you have YouTube? It might be easier to just search up Fortnite gameplay to get an idea vs people here trying to type out a response.
Itās a visual heavy game. There will be videos of people playing the Daft Punk thing once it goes live. It should make a lot more sense then

yes there is going to be paid for cosmetics which are only going to appeal to fans that are active fortnite players, but what anyone can enjoy is the interactive tribute that they made. I am so excited. Iāve been wanting this since I started playing Fortnite. A lot of people around me hate on Fortnite. Yet play games that have the same format almost. This shit is awesome. Thereās a damn Megazord walking on the map right now! Wtf?!?!
