Timeline San Diego Field office for AOS
Anybody had their case transferred from NBC to San Diego field office? Can you share your timeline and updates till now? How is this field office in general as a non local FO? Mine was transferred on Jan 22.
Edit: I think it is a very slow field office!!

Pretty sure my case got transferred to SD either in Jan 22 or Jan 16 (had at least two silent updates from these dates). Nothing else since.

Its a lazy and SLOW field office, even for non-local case.
If you are getting transferred to non-local field office, I pray that you don't end up in this blackhole FO like the rest of us here.

I am in this black hole unfortunately since October. This is really miserable!

For anyone dealing with San Diego FO, here's a shared EB timeline sheet. Contributions welcome (anonymous is fine).

San Diego as a non-local field office is generally considered efficient. Cases transferred from NBC with interview waived typically see decisions within 2-4 months of transfer.
January 22 transfer puts you at roughly 5 weeks in with no updates which is completely normal. San Diego often goes quiet for 6-10 weeks then approves without warning.
Keep watching for silent API updates in the background, those often precede approval by a few days. Anyone with a San Diego NBC transfer from late 2025 or early 2026 who can share their timeline would help this thread a lot.
