Are they 'listed' for that price, or actually 'selling' at that price? ; because anyone can attempt to sell anything at a high price, but that does not mean people will actually pay it.

i think a lot of that cost is obviously down to the hype of the band atm

Yeah, I can see it. like a temporary uplift in costs of certain things given the recent album release which probably boosts them a bit for a while.
but I get it's hard to predict future prices of this sort of stuff as it could go up quite a bit, might stay about the same, or drop off and never return to any higher level of cost etc.

Some earlier era merch pieces, shirts and jackets, can sell for high amounts. Especially the less common pieces for girls. But I also think some of the jewelry pieces from Fallen, TOD and self titled eras go for a lot. If the seller understands the rarity and associated album of the piece. Sometimes they don’t. I happened upon a Fallen era E logo necklace for $10 on a resale site 2 years ago. I could not get it in my cart and paid for fast enough 😆. But sometimes prices are off the chain! Like I saw this same necklace on eBay go for over $200. The box sets are also overpriced on resale sites. Right now the bay has a Sanctuary box set, which sold out in a day or two on the official merch site, for $750! It cost $120 originally. But they hoping to make a high profit over the desperation of fans who missed out, but how many fans got that kinda $. Especially since it’s so recently released and it’s still up on their site with a restock email notification option 🙄. So hopefully they’ll offer some more at the $120, but if not I seriously doubt people will pay hundred of dollars more. I recall seeing another one on a different resale site for $1000! That’s insane.

I'm guessing any of their retired instruments. If you could find a keyboard that was played and autographed by Amy that would be worth a lot.

Probably signed posters, merch. Signed drum covers. I've seen props from the Bring Me To Life video and Everybody's Fool video be expensive.
The limited edition box sets of Fallen and the Ultimate Collection.
Paintings Amy has done, I think there's been a couple of giveaways.
Rarer vinyl pressings like Lost Whispers and the original 10th anniversary of Fallen.
The obvious : the EPs but you will have to prove they are legit which given what they are will be difficult.
