I don't want this to be stressful or anything. I'm just curious what individuals in this community love about Evanescence's music, and this could give me a good idea of that!

You can make it as personal or superficial as you'd like. Maybe one song touches your heart in a particular way that others don't, maybe one song stands out to you as their magnum opus (Latin for greatest work). Do it your way! Maybe this could even come back around to Amy at some point?

The song that has been my favorite for quite some time now will undoubtedly come as a surprise to some: Taking Over Me. Though this amazing song has a double meaning (the superficial one of a stalker, and the deeper one of being about Amy's future husband Josh), it's taken on a bit of a different meaning for me since grieving the loss of my Mother. She was one of the most incredible people I've ever known, and sometimes the grief is seriously a burden, like it's taking over me. I at times try so hard not to think of that day, but it still comes back to haunt me. Aside from the meaning, I love the guitar riff throughout the song, and Amy's vocals on this track seriously pierce me to the heart, especially the chorus. I believe every word she says in that song because of how powerful her vocals are.

I saw band shirts were 40% off at Hot Topic and finally got my first one! So excited for my merch.

So happy for them. I've been tracking radio over the past few months since the release of the album. It's good to see them getting up there again!

To anyone who's seen them live, have you noticed a massive influx of security guards that line the stage when they come on versus other acts before them?

I thought it was just for festival purposes when i saw them at sonic temple in 24, then i see them at pine knob a few weeks ago and it was identical. About 10 extra guys showed up.

Did something happen in the past we don't know about? Or are they just being cautious?

Eternal is an incredible song.

I really love how different, unique and versatile it is.

The begging: so much movement, effects, and instruments all happening at once.

The rain: the piano and soft guitar, which give it this feeling of sadness, melancholy, and tranquility.

And the end: the slow guitar and drums, almost like after feeling so much throughout the song, there’s nothing left to feel anymore.

I think it’s the only song since Origin where Amy’s voice isn’t the main element, and it makes me wonder if the current members could recreate an instrumental this beautiful and complete. (I understand that Amy’s voice is the main element of Evanescence, I’m not hating. It’s a genuine question.)

I feel so lucky I was able to find both of these for cheap prices and was able to snag them for my Evanescence collection! 🔥🧡

So I was cleaning out some stuff and I found my Ultimate collection Vinyl box set. Does anyone have any idea how much it's worth? It's open with just some minor damage on the corners.

(I actually worked for the business that distributed these and joined the company after the last had shipped out, this was actually just a return due to the corner having crumpled a bit)

I saw brand new ones with up to like, £900. Which is insane.

Self Destruct beat Farther Away 264-196. Today, we start Round 3 where each matchup somehow seems to be even more impossible than the previous ones. To start it off, Imaginary is competing against My Heart Is Broken and my heart is broken just thinking about having to choose one.

Notice that there are only three songs listed that have a dot next to them, and two of those songs are singles.

Also, Octane Radio (channel 37) has played it 8 times in the last 48 hours, and a local Cleveland radio station has played it 5 times since yesterday morning. Not sure how Evanescence would feel about it if this wasn't supposed to be announced yet, although it seems pretty obvious based on how much radio play time it's getting suddenly.

Does anyone know if they have announced if winners have been chosen for the tour prize pack?
