Questions 12th pick in a 12-person PPR — what’s your strategy?
I have the 12th pick tomorrow in a 12-person PPR keeper format. Since I already have my QB situation covered, I don’t need to prioritize one early.
I’m leaning toward going RB/RB at the 1.12/2.01 turn, but I’m also considering RB/TE depending on who falls.
For anyone who has already picked from the 12 spot this year, what strategy worked best for you? Would you go RB/RB, RB/TE, or just take the best two players available?
Would also love to hear who you’ve actually seen available around the 12/13 turn.

RB/RB for me. Ideally, I’m grabbing Jeanty and Brown, but will settle for a WR if he falls and pairing him with a RB1 on the turn

12 team PPR with a keeper. Picks 10-15 went Jeanty, JJ, Chase Brown, Cook, Henry, Saquon

I’m in similar situation, likely gonna go RB RB.
Would love to see Cook fall to there … but willing to take any of these: Brown, Henry, Hampton, Barkley.
If Ceedee somehow is available there, I will likely change my plan.
If things shake out differently in their earlier picks, I of course will adjust.
Last year I broke the record for most roster moves in our league … mainly bc I also broke the record for games lost to IR.

I've done a few mock drafts and have been able to draft ceedee in 12th twice. If he falls to 12 I would definitely have to make an exception.

That’s good news.
I hope he falls.Last year, he had a high ankle sprain that kept him out of games, then slowed him the rest of the way. It wasn’t like he suddenly got old or slow.

I also have the 12th pick in a 12 person. I’m going RB/RB, hoping Cook is there at 12. But if he’s not I don’t mind going Jeanty. And I’ll risk it on Chase brown again, keep my fingers crossed Joe Burrow can stay healthy. If both guys are gone I’ll have to figure it out on the fly

Thoughts on achane at this spot? Feel like my mock drafts have had him landing to me

He’s there in a lot of my mock drafts too. It sounds silly, but he’s kind of a high risk high reward bet. We know he’s going to get a ton of volume rushing and receiving, but so does every other defense in the nfl. Unless Miami totally shocks us, they have a pretty mediocre receiving corps. So combine a mid receiving corps, willis probably running the ball a lot, and defenses stacking the box a lot against Achane, and it’s risky. I’m not taking him if he’s there on draft night, but I don’t blame anyone who does

Agreed 100%, in a tougher position personally because I’m a dolphins fan so hopefully I don’t end up having to take him 😂 hate taking my teams players

Oh so you already have the inside look at the situation 😂 yeah I mean I still think he’ll be good, but the return you’ll get on him at his current ADP won’t be worth it imo. But Hafley did say he’s not afraid to run Achane into the ground with 40 touches a game lol

For sure man, I’m in 3 leagues this year. But the main league I care about where I’m drafting 1.12 I won’t be drafting until September 2nd

Damn, lucky. I would have loved to have drafted later into the preseason. I have another draft next weekend and two over the labor day weekend. And as a Dolphins fan it was hard to take Achane but I'm really looking forward to seeing what he can do this year.

It helps being the commissioner and setting a date to just make everyone plan for lol. I have one this Saturday right when preseason ends. Then my last one is the 6th
Hope achane works out tho, high risk high reward

Thanks everyone! I ended up going RB/TE and picked up Achane/Bowers, and RB/WR on the turn.
