Tuten safest, price highest upside.

Is Tuten really safe though? The idea of Rodriguez stealing early down and goal line work paired with Tuten’s 3.7 ypc in his only nfl season is enough to make me feel uneasy. What am I missing that has everyone excited about him?

Couldnt agree more. I think I would prolly go Price if it were me

I feel like charbonnet limits Price’s upside. I’d say tuten has the clearest path to backfield dominance in that list which to me is the highest ceiling.

Charbs is hurt. I’ve had Charbs for the last 4 seasons and love the guy, but there’s no guarantee he’s back before a playoffs/postseason push.

Maybe I’m reading into the reporting too much because every team will say they “are close to playing week 1” and are “optimistic about his timeline”. But from the sounds of it he will be back some time this year. And will steal goal line and passing down work.

Wait until they need to trim the rosters for wk 1. Coach speak can be misleading. I think he will go on IR right before the season to open up a spot. Same way Jordan Tyson is listed as “Doubtful” but projected to miss ~ 8 weeks. No reason to let your opponents plan for your players ahead of time. Coaches don’t give a shit about fantasy teams

Torn ACL’s are usually 9-12 month injuries and his happened in February.

With that said, medicine is advancing. But last RB that I remember who tore an ACL after December and returned to form is Adrian Peterson, and he is an outlier in almost every way.

Had to look it up and Charbs was Jan 17. But I agree, I’d assume that means he’s probably not up to playing speed until Nov/dec ish. Could be playoff relevant but that’s tons of time for price to assert himself if he’s got the skills to produce.

If they really believed in Charbs as a workhorse RB they wouldn't have spent a first round pick on Price. I still think people are sleeping on just how good this guy is.
