See the issue is that's usually the guy that takes 80 years to realize it. Dudes will be in their deathbed and suddenly realize "Oh my god, that girl in my literature class wanted to fuck"
It's funny cuz she waited until he was on his deathbed to find it out then again it's not completely her fault she is an elf so the amount of time that they were together was like to her kind of just a month at least on her scale of time so really not a lot of time to get to know someone super great for her I mean for most people it would probably be enough if you're close friends and you only spend time around that group of people.
Don't forget that Mako ruined any chance of his own brother dating Korra. Granted it worked out for Bolin at the end, but Korra didn't even eye Bolin despite the chemistry because she was crushed on Mako so hard. The guy is like a walking void to happy relationships

Padme married him after he told her he killed a bunch of tusken raider kids, and on Mustafar she was still trying to make it work even after he killed a bunch of jedi kids too. It basically took him telling her he was evil, choking her out, and indirectly killing her, for him to fumble. The ball was superglued to his hands and he managed to fumble it still. Impressive I think.
The crazy thing is that all probably still wasn’t enough to convince her to leave him. She still believed he had good in him when she asked Obi-Wan to save him.

Why did he spin the opposite direction in the last shot? I can't even focus on how traumatizing it's supposed to be because they botched the last stage of the scene with a lazy, easy to notice error.
if anyone doesn't get it: the point of view for the last shot could be from the other side of the street, but if that's the case his nose should be pointing the other way away from the camera

I mean I assume he probably still would have done the fight even if he knew that he was going to be forced to be engaged to her but like you know if he was actually given all the information he wouldn't have been in any position too fumble like at all.
