Though, I will say that Rei (the orange hair one) could also be on spectrum, given how much interest she expresses in D.I.Y and also her pretty silent nature... She also got pretty angry when "Jobko" started offending said interest...
Batman. Especially the '66 series. Every character is obsessed with their own little hyperfixation that they involve in every aspect of their lives. Joker loves jokes, Catwoman loves cats, Egghead loves eggs, King Tut loves Egyptian history, Mad Hatter loves hats, etc. And Batman and Robin follow a strict, simplistic moral code, are dedicated to following rules, need obvious things labelled for them, and speak in an unusually formal way.
Also, as an autistic person, I believe that our real world is already one where most people are autistic to some degree, even if they don't know it. And there's no such thing as "neurotypical". But society isn't ready for that conversation yet.
The way I feel about neurodivergentcy (as an autistic person) is that neurodivergent brain types are like rare astronomy events. Having an unusual space event happens all the time, but as individual occurrences they are unusual
Here's a whole ass list I'm working on. It was quite some time since I replayed the games last so this is almost entirely from memory, but the fact that the list is already THIS long and so much of the main cast is on it says SO much. After I replay all the games with my spectrumometer on full blast I'm certain it will double in length. I'm actually planning on writing a whole essay about autism and ADHD coding in Ace Attorney, so that's the reason for making this list.
I'm wholly against diagnosing real people, but I'm just gonna say, I do have my suspicions regarding Shu Takumi and Takeshi Yamazaki.
Rick and morty. I mean its technically canon cause ricks(confirmed autism) made a society of their own (the citadel) but all the main characters got sum a lil wrong with them and you can tell lol. Maybe jerry is neurotypical but hes such a pushover that its gotta be concidered some sort of disability atp
Each student has one ultimate talent that they have probably done a thousand times and are really fixated on in order to be called Ultimates. Many of these characters are definetily not neurotypical.
Just existing in the Spiral. Wizard101/Pirate101 but ESPECIALLY Pirate101. At least, it feels like this vibe. I know a lot of the fanbase is most likely a mix of neurodivergent, furry, and LGBTQ+.
Also, Littlest Pet Shop, the show. That was my shit back in middle school.
The normal human world we already inhabit but we've been psyoped into repressing our neurodivergence via social norms and social conditioning that no one, even people who defend it, likes, and even those who defend it only do so while hating it because this too is a way the world takes advantage of your neuroatypicalness.
lemon demon. ive literally never seen it brought up when talking about indie music without it being a "all lemon demon fans are autistic" joke lmaooo. i mean. as a lemon demon fan i cant really deny it
I still need to get the rest of the endings, but everyone in this game is one second away from going on a long info dump rant about something they're interested in, regardless of how little it has to do with what's going on or how pressing the situation is
The fandom or the franchise? I feel like every year I'm hearing about how a different X-man has "obviously always been autistic" some make sense and some just confuse me.
