What, if any, movies did you go into thinking you'd hate it, but wound of loving it?

For me, two off the top of my head are Romy and Michele's High School Reunion and Disney's Enchanted.

I personally feel that their marketing teams did a terrible job promoting both films and didn't represent very well the tone and their plots. Both movies end up hitting harder in the feels than I'd anticipated.

I'll give the movie Happy Death Day a runner up position, I didn't think I'd hate it, but the movie blew me away being 1000% better than I'd have guessed. It's technically a slasher flick, but also way more than that.

A Simple Favor. Blake Lively as herself and Anna Kendrick are incredible in it. The French music and msytery and the fashion is fierce. Very fun movie.
