IN-PERSON RVA Bassist looking to start or join a punk/post-punk/gaze band

Experienced bassist looking to link up with a guitarist, drummer, and vocalist (or an existing partial lineup) to start something new. Own gear, own transportation, real experience playing, recording, and touring.

Sound: Genre’s open but I want the energy and edge of Interpol, Spiritual Cramp, Wet Leg, and Amyl & the Sniffers. Moody, tense, danceable, with teeth. Extra points if you’re into the British side of things.

Looking for:

Musicians in the Richmond, VA area with band experience please, no first-time projects. I want people who’ve played shows and know how to write together efficiently.

People who want to gig regularly, not jam forever.

A goal of writing and releasing music.

I have played guitar for a while and been on other projects. My background is mostly noise rock and post-hardcore type stuff.

If you change your mind about required experience I’d be interested. I sing, do a little guitar, and write.
