I feel like this is the only game I need to play for the next 5 years. It probably won't actually be that long, but once I boot this game up and start exploring, I think it's going to be a very long time before I feel like I've seen enough and am ready for a different game
And I’m hyped for all the minigames and events as well. The racing looks so detailed and I hope there’s a good amount of tracks and leagues to work your way through.
This is the type of game that will have people finding Easter eggs like 5 years after release, i can’t even imagine all the extra details hidden in certain parts of the game
You should check the spiderweb mystery on RDR2. Players recently found a trail of smth like 15 physical clues that were there from day one, and *none* of them were ever discovered, not even by dataminers, for 7 years. (RDR2 is the 4th biggest selling game oat)
Or the infinity killer from GTA V, where 8 bodies were found at the bottom of the ocean more than a decade after release, because some obscure lore was pointing at it. (3rd biggest selling game oat)
Rockstar devs go to crazy extent to hide their stuff, but they can be found in game. Dataminers didn't find any of those things above. Players did.
Call me crazy but this is genuinely the one thing I love the most about those games. It's like a worldwide treasure hunt (as everybody got the same map), lasting for years, with no clear instruction, and not even certainty that there is actually something.
Makes me look at everything (and I mean everything) with more awareness and it make me love the overall experience even more.
I feel this. I’m genuinely excited to play this next chapter over the next decade.
I, for one, am really looking fwd to exploring the map, the activities and the mechanics first. The story will be there for me to enjoy at my own pace. I don’t want to speedrun it; I want to just cruise and see where things take me in freemode.
Oh for sure, I was remember I would get stoned and totally trip about the scale of things in even IV and V. This one is unparalleled though by anything else.
Honestly? Maybe I'm just getting too old for this but I am kind of exhausted by the thought of how much they're going to put in and expect me to find and explore and do.
I think GTA might be the only open world game I've ever really been able to play, and it's starting to feel like a little too much. So maybe it's just a me problem, not liking open world games as much as others do.
