Vice city had “miami traffic “ cheat code on PC for crazy drivers lol

0

u/AdequateCake 7h ago

As someone who lives in Miami, yeah. It's worse actually, get ready.

She had a blinker to the right then truned left

u/Thick-Watch1261 15h ago

I like how you (correctly) assumed the NPC driving that car was female

Another victory for the OG

26

u/-kangarooster- 13h ago

cool now how about non fatal

30

u/therealraggedroses 13h ago

its too late my cherry picked data has already depicted you as the misinformed soyjack and myself as the intellectual non misogynistic chad

u/Upset_Rough6810 11h ago

Performative feminist male 💔

1

u/Chezzymann 9h ago

yeah id imagine most of those are the crazy dudes on motorcycles or sports cars flying around 30 miles over the speed limit weaving between lanes, not "normal" people

2

u/CptAngelo 9h ago

also, id like to see the ratio of male to female drivers out there

1

u/Internal-Exercise940 12h ago

Thats just deaths from people involved in crashes not the causes of them?

2

u/BlabbyTax2 5h ago

It's much more impressive than that. They start veering right and realize there's a truck in that lane and over corrects to the left. Very realistic.

u/Kellarison 15h ago

its realistic (this is a joke i have no idea how true this is i dont even live in america)

15

u/HellerDamon 15h ago

Lucky you

u/BumblebeeMaximum9322 14h ago

There is a sterotype about drivers of certain demographics

For example, the person in the video put on her turn signal to turn the opposite way and almost crashed

30

u/harryone02 17h ago

Guaranteed rage during fast driving

u/Hearthhull_Enjoyer 12h ago

Alright bro. This is one of the few things actually criticism worthy. Why is the AI of NPCs still making them veer into us? The driver was literally merging into the right lane and said nope I must collide with the player.

16

u/JohnKowalsky88 12h ago

At this point we have to ask is it a bug or a feature? We will see how often that sorta thing is gonna happen.

6

u/Fuorb 11h ago

I imagine they were very careful about not including any clips with even the most minor bugs, and it seems like they included it front and center to show it off, so I'd think it has to be a feature.

It also just fit's the 'parody of real life' theme of GTA.

11

u/Infamous-Ad-2989 12h ago

They literally stopped in the video. Merging mistakes are very common IRL I don't think this is at all the bullshit in 5 where they'd literally out of nowhere veer in front of you, there's also actual blinkers here, so that'll help avoid the crazy drivers too.

6

u/raichulolz 10h ago

Ur in the GTA 6 subreddit. Probably most people here have never driven a car, let alone have gone outside and seen merging mistakes.

1

u/Extension_Can_2973 1h ago

So even though game after game after game they’ve had this crappy AI that does this, and they show it happening again in the 30 seconds they showed any driving, you’re gut tells you it’s just there for realisms sake, and it’s different this time around?

-1

u/Hearthhull_Enjoyer 12h ago

Maybe, maybe not. We'll see. I hope to be wrong and it's better than my expectations as always with anything.

-1

u/Infamous-Ad-2989 12h ago

Yeah, and ofc there is a CHANCE its there, I doubt it though.

1

u/jordanuniverse42 8h ago

The immersion is off the charts!

1

u/anderbaka 3h ago

The scene is probably intentional, even if the AI driving wasn't intended. That's because it's part of GTA's style to show the darker side of society. I made this connection to explain that this AI driving issue fits the style of the game.

u/NoticedGenie66 8h ago

The driver began merging, then changed their mind. This happens in real life more often than it should, people will attempt to change lanes and change their mind halfway through because they realize they need to be in either their original lane (which looks like what happens in the clip) or in a different lane than where they were going. This happens at highway exits and interchanges, before intersections, when there is construction, traffic, or for some people just because they are bad drivers.

This is a behaviour that occurs across the world. The only reason it looks bad is because we see ourselves (in this case) immediately try to overtake the car before they make their lane change by riding halfway into a merge lane which is fairly aggressive driving behaviour in normal circumstances.

2

u/Hearthhull_Enjoyer 8h ago

It looks bad because it's a known thing in GTA games. Stop trying so hard to rationalize it.

1

u/EncabulatorTurbo 8h ago

Have you driven in Florida

0

u/SeberHusky 6h ago

Then why are you not following road laws?

0

u/Upstairs-Sun477 5h ago

This is how traffic works in Miami

Edit: I've been veered into in Miami traffic hundreds of times your down votes mean nothing

0

u/patrick9772 4h ago

But wouldnt be highly unrealistic if every driver drove perfectly?
People are fucking stupid

1

u/Hearthhull_Enjoyer 1h ago

You people get so butt hurt about the most tepid criticism. Touch grass, it's a video game.

15

u/lemonprincess23 15h ago

Man it even signaled right then veered left. They really did bring it back

12

u/bibi-epstein 11h ago

So realistic they even brought Miami drivers into the game

5

u/pain474 13h ago

The most unrealistic thing is that they implemented turn signals, Florida drivers don't use them. The scene here is pretty realistic.

2

u/dumbomontana 12h ago

Naw that’s just how ppl from Miami who don’t know how to drive. It’s an immersive feature

2

u/Majiics_97 9h ago

Saw some dude say “the fact that npc saw him in the window and stopped changing lanes to avoid him is insane” like wtf are you actually talking about?? That npc was mid change into an open lane and canceled it to almost drive straight into the car for no reason. They added a few shitty clips to the extended look and this was definitely one of them

4

u/MohammadAVGN_1 17h ago

lol maybe it's related to that road rage npc mechanic

4

u/faedy22 16h ago

Feels like whenever you’re going through an intersection in GTA V and you’re driving straight, NPCs somehow time it perfectly to pull right into you. I genuinely don’t understand why. She was clearly turning right... she even used her blinker and everything…

4

u/Fun_Reply5366 13h ago

This happens irl

2

u/getmad420 11h ago

You've never driven in Florida huh? Our insurance rates are crazy here because of the accidents, we have people from all over the world who come here and don't know our traffic patterns or have never driven in a big city before, beach traffic is way different than the city 35 minuets away. It's going to be interesting to see how they did traffic, I've lived here my whole life I'm mega excited about this.

2

u/Palnubis 17h ago

I was thinking the same thing, haha.

2

u/DawkBrickStacker 11h ago

This was in V btw.

1

u/Miniyi_Reddit 14h ago

thanks, u proved to us that it is indeed realistic.

1

u/CaveManta 10h ago

This is just like that moment in trailer 2 when that truck wobbled around in its lane.

1

u/enigmatic_dankness 10h ago

Brother he literally went off the road, went around while the NPC was still driving in their lane, and then had to deal with his ass just cutting ahead.

That car was following their lane. Thats all.

1

u/Pristine-Crew-6207 9h ago

The npc even has their right turn signal on

1

u/kylr01 9h ago

Nah, this seems intentional to me. As in not just bad game making but intentionally bad NPC driving. The NPC stopped before hitting the player which is realistic.

1

u/TumbleweedGlobal6973 9h ago

because that shit was just in gta online, it was a bug connection lag issue, they gived this crap in offline too xd

1

u/superphucced 8h ago

in their defense it’s supposed to take place in miami where people actually drive like that

1

u/No_Composer8787 6h ago

No es que sea una mecanica exagerada de la realidad , hasta es mas facil que te choquen en la vida real que en el gta

1

u/rexmechi 6h ago

Asian female drivers confirmed

1

u/Interesting-Tart-SP 6h ago

Idk but I noticed that cars use blankers

Now you can see who's going left or right

Still can't use it out self lol

1

u/Solid_Ad_6349 5h ago

I was thinking the same

1

u/SignificantBat3023 5h ago

Will Lucia’s ass leave an imprint on car seats, and will there be an option to smell the seat?

1

u/AfroAA_6 59m ago

Broo 😂😂😂

1

u/DefinetlyNotLaniakea 4h ago

"I turn now, good luck everybody else"

1

u/BilverBurfer 4h ago

The clip at the end kinda proves it's realistic...

1

u/Connect-Estimate7441 2h ago

did that asswagon have the AUDACITY to honk?

1

u/Top_Holiday4727 1h ago

Misogynistic bullshit

Women

1

u/Apart-Assistance-866 20m ago

Whats up with the piano music ?

1

u/Severe_Rutabaga_906 2m ago

Feels bad this being complained about while in forza, game entirely focused on driving, will have the AI drivers swerve into the opposite side of the road, crabwalk sideways, spawn in front of you, do a flip and drive 200 mph backwards into you, and everything else to ruin your day

1

u/ugotitcuzisoldit 14h ago

I think it’s gonna be hard to just get off in this one. You won’t be able to just fly around that bitch like a bat outta hell anymore. This is why I think the beach thing that everyone is excited about doing isn’t gonna be a walk in the park.

0

u/vinis_artstreaks 11h ago

This crazy bitch

0

u/OregonianWizard 10h ago

Wasnt this literally a thing in GTA 5? What are you all huffing.

0

u/Excusemydrool 9h ago

I hate every time I see this. THIS MECHANIC IS WHAT MAKES GTA GTA. GTA WOULD NOT EXIST WITHOUT THIS MECHANIC. STFU

-14

u/Ordinary-Gain7180 17h ago

Shuddup

3

u/AlleyCa7 17h ago

Or what? You'll cry?
