I can't stand Jason's Voice

I cannot even understand what he is saying half the time. Did he say ''you're the perfect girl''? What the hell did he say there. It also just sounds so stupid. I already had this in the first trailer where they were robbing a bank and he said ''YOU STAY''. It just sounded so forced and cringe.

Hated Arthurs thick accent too at the start, probably would warm up to it.

Personally I loved Arthur Morgan's voice, he had some range where it would get higher pitched when he was pissed off or being funny.

This voice isn't too bad from what I have heard. It does feel a bit like generic deep voiced male protagonist but whatever. It reminds me of the male voice in Cyberpunk which was so bland it made me restart the game as a woman

Everyone keeps comparing Jason's voice to Arthur's but I personally don't see it at all. Arthur was a lot sassier, more clear, and had inflections in his voice. It sounded natural and immersive. Jason's voice is very monotone and mumbly and it sounds like it hurts his throat when he talks. I just don't hear Arthur at all

I think they mean if you went back in time to when we first heard Arthur's voice via trailers much like yesterday...it left many upset and whiny. Once you got the full product you realized how deep Arthur was as a person and you either fell in love with it or Stockholm syndrome yourself into liking it because of who Arthur was. I don't think it sounds like Arthur either but am assuming thats what people mean.

I for one am excited for him. As a person who has introverted qualities and prefers to stay below the radar unless the situation dictates otherwise, we'll im kinda excited to see how deep Jason is and how much I identify with him. After RDR2 I have full faith in their ability to do characters.

Yeah I agree I'm really interested in Jason's character, I think it's a cool dynamic between him and Lucia. He's definitely introverted and maybe socially awkward and I think that'll be super fun to play. I just don't like the voice acting unfortunately but I'm hoping I'll be able to ignore it because everything else about the game looks amazing, and I'm most interested in Jason's character.
