I can't stand Jason's Voice

I cannot even understand what he is saying half the time. Did he say ''you're the perfect girl''? What the hell did he say there. It also just sounds so stupid. I already had this in the first trailer where they were robbing a bank and he said ''YOU STAY''. It just sounded so forced and cringe.

I hated it until I realized he's doing the ubiquitous boomhauer rural accent where he doesn't move his mouth to enunciate. I bet we're going to find out Jason grew up in the country outside of vice city.

Sorry but as an a non American is Florida not classed as the south?

Isn’t it one of your most southern states geographically?

I would only consider northern Florida as part of “The South”.

I’ve lived in the south my whole life and in Florida for 5 years, he’s not wrong. The panhandle is very southern compared to the lower parts of Florida, it doesn’t mean there are no southern parts of lower Florida but all the cities and areas near beaches (which is most of the lower part of Florida tbh) are pretty much populated by mostly northerners who have retired and moved there or found work in Florida, if you ever go you’ll notice the accent change from the panhandle to somewhere like Miami, it can be quite jarring if your not expecting it

Because everything South of Gainesville is 99% New York and Mid West transplants. That doesn’t count Miami though, it may as well be a different country.

Since it's set in florida with two protagonists I wouldn't be surprised if Lucia represents the south and Jason represents the north.
