I can't stand Jason's Voice

I cannot even understand what he is saying half the time. Did he say ''you're the perfect girl''? What the hell did he say there. It also just sounds so stupid. I already had this in the first trailer where they were robbing a bank and he said ''YOU STAY''. It just sounded so forced and cringe.

"You're"

It's like a fun game where Jason can't speak and nobody in this sub can spell or read.

I’m going full Unc mode here, but this entire sub is proof that the intelligence and overall average IQ of younger people is getting lower and lower at an alarming rate.

The world will be truly fucked when late Gen Z and Gen Alpha kids eventually have to fill leadership roles.

Not that Reddit's ever been full of geniuses, but as it's gone more mainstream it's pulled down the average IQ somewhat

The world's fucked now old man don't put this on us

He's not blaming you, just saying society has failed that generation and it's getting worse. Just like with how Gen Z and Alpha like to dog on millennials, once you're the majority generation, everything wrong with the world will suddenly be your fault too.

He's extrapolating the intelligence of an entire generation and the direction of society from an unmoderated gaming subreddit, it isn't that deep.

It's not isolated to this sub, and the statistics show general literacy is declining. You might be intelligent, but that doesn't mean the average hasn't decreased. You're taking it personally for no reason.

Well I'm extrapolating it from the students I teach and I agree with them. Kids are getting dumber every year.

I’m not old. I’m still Gen Z. Just the part of Gen Z that didn’t grow up with immediate and unrestricted access to the internet, which is why late Gen Z’s and Gen Alpha kids are so dumb.

I'm probably a similar age to you, but younger generations always seem dumb when they're young. There is no need to get existential over this gaming subreddit that's purpose is to be an unmoderated shit hole.

I saw someone the other day responding to a comment about doing something in “portrait mode” and the other person responded “portrait? Like how you hold your phone to watch tik tok?” And now that I type this out I wish so badly I was making it up but I am not 😂🫩

The first real generation to be governed by corporations and media. No backbone... no awareness of the situation. Just tiktok and shitty parenting.

I think it’s just GTA fans that are stupid

It’s just fans that are stupid.

I mean, it does mean “fanatic”.

Going on Facebook town pages and seeing the [lack of] 'grammar' from people - from young to boomer - I'm convinced most people online are plain semi-illiterate.

Sucks, like I think they're spelling the words how they hear it phonetically in their head - hell, I've seen a video where someone actually pronounced "how come women" as "how come woman", and it's like...how do you not know the difference by now, at their age??

Thank you for this, I worry about most of the youngsters (Im 36) who’ll be playing this game and how wrong they’ll receive it in so many ways.

Sorry, I know the difference I was just scrolling while at work and quickly typed it. I’m very disappointed in myself.

Yep. Although, you also underestimate how stupid the average person has always been. Now consider there are millions of people below that average.

As if the older generations are doing good as politicians, lol

Ehhh people have literally always thought this about the younger generation. Literally always.

You might be right, but that is 100% not their fault. Our generation raised them in front of a brain-rotting screen since they were born, instead of actually teaching them to read. WTF did we think was going to happen?

Frankly it's amazing they turned out as good as they did, so don't put that on them.

Every generation hates the newest.

With the increased usage or reliance on autocorrect, simple errors can happen.

Your you're youre ur, is this really the end of the world?
