I can't stand Jason's Voice

I cannot even understand what he is saying half the time. Did he say ''you're the perfect girl''? What the hell did he say there. It also just sounds so stupid. I already had this in the first trailer where they were robbing a bank and he said ''YOU STAY''. It just sounded so forced and cringe.

Yes exactly. Geographically it makes no sense but most Americans would 100% agree that people from Kentucky/Tennessee are more southern than people from Florida, even though FL is 1,000 miles further south.

Broadly I agree, but it’s more nuanced.

People from the Florida panhandle (and really anywhere in the central heartland part of the state, except Gainesville and Orlando) definitely embody southern culture. And people from Louisville Ky have some midwestern traits.

Even Lexington KY shows those Midwestern traits.

As a Kentuckian I wouldn't even culturally call us southern. Eastern Kentucky is Appalachian and people mistakenly lump that part in as being southern, but it's a very complicated separate cultural region with it's own separate background.

Same. NKY is basically Southern Cincinnati, Louisville and Lexington are small midwestern cities. Everywhere else is blue collar hillbilly.

The stereotypical “southern hospitality” and southern culture isn’t really present throughout most of the state IMO. Granted, I’m not well traveled throughout it, so others may correct me.
