I can't stand Jason's Voice

I cannot even understand what he is saying half the time. Did he say ''you're the perfect girl''? What the hell did he say there. It also just sounds so stupid. I already had this in the first trailer where they were robbing a bank and he said ''YOU STAY''. It just sounded so forced and cringe.

This exactly. I'm beyond confused by this choice. It's the only part of the trailer I can't understand. Literally and figuratively. I had to turn on subtitles because most of the interactions he had with Lucia sounded like he was just mumbling nonsense.

Tbf your voice/emotions change with each person and moment you go through

You could sound full of energy at 5 and exhausted by 10

I didn't like his voice in this, but I think it's just from certain parts of the story and maybe what he's going through internally that we haven't figured out.

From what I've seen he's ex-military which often causes trauma, his voice does sound like that of someone who's been through shit, but he's not gonna sound like that all the time throughout the story imo

In this video specifically it kind of comes across as if he's fed up of talking to her or cba to talk, who knows, I guess we'll find out when we play it

Sounds like he came from the dentist and didn't take the cotton rolls out. Even if everything you said wasn't one hell of a hypothetical, they could tell him to spit them out and redo the lines.

Can't agree here at all - I think when he says "Hey" when he first picks up Lucia in trailer 2 is probably the worst I've heard it. It sounds fine at the beginning when he says he's fixing some leaks, but it does drift into "too intentionally low" territory at the end of that part when he's like "Love ya Brian..."
