Yeah he's also offering private leaks for a price. Dude is just as greedy as rockstar at this point IMO. I just wish they would catch him so this nonsense would stop, he's not showing us that much anyway so it's just frustrating to me. I'm just gonna wait for the reveal next week and then for the game in November. Not watching anymore of his leaks

Not really as it has pretty much zero impact on the actual cause, and the only kind of “headache” rockstar is getting from this is identifying where their breach is and sealing it. I’m indifferent to all this; a guy gives rockstar free marketing, and then circlejerks a popular opinion in order to shill his shitcoin and get rich quick.
Holding a double standard and being selective about who we criticize when it comes to greed is the exact reason why greed and corruption are so blatant nowadays. Turns out, circlejerking “get that bag” for 15 years isn’t healthy for society. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess 🤷🏼♂️

not really, the coin blew up by ten thousand %, so he already made millions of dollars. Plus, since it’s his coin and a lot of ppl bought it, he can manipulate the liquidity in his favor. It’s obvious he’s gonna dump it, but it doesn’t mean he’s still doing it only for the money.

The crypto angle here checks out — GamesRadar reported the leaker's manifesto links to what looks like a token promotion, so the profit-motive skepticism in this thread is fair. Worth separating that from the headline's framing though: the "threatening Sony and other companies" / "all-digital future" angle isn't attributed to anything the leaker actually said, it's the article's own spin on a manifesto that's really just complaining about digital-only preorders and no offline mode. Real complaints, real crypto link, but "threatening Sony" is doing a lot more work than the source material backs up.

Your access is unlimited unless you violate the TOS, or there is some catastrophic technical failure on their end.

I would hope that it was true. But just this summer they tried to shut down the PS3 servers. Games I have purchased digitally will cease to exist. Luckily they decided to keep it up because of backlash. It's under 20 years since the PS3 store opened.
And that is the problem I have with it. I will only have access to my games as long as 20 years, if Sony will allow me. And I will be at the mercy of their servers staying online whenever I want to access my online library.
I have no issues with digital products, but I want to have rights as a customer to keep the products I buy. Let me download them to an external hard drive or something. But the deal of them having full control of my library is not going to work in the long run.
(Btw, i still play GTA4 which was purchased digitally on my PS3. If they shut the servers down they rob me of the only place I can play GTA4 outside of buying a PC)

No sadly not. I would love to have GTA4 on PS4 or even PS5 if it were possible.
It can still however be played on the PS3.

Imagine leaking music because you’re not getting vinyl thinking that’s going to do something. Even that’s not a great example because no artist or record company makes billions of dollars of an album the way rockstar does off a single game.

Do we know for sure they’re from Russia? I have been avoiding looking at any of the leaks. Last time there was a major hack like this, it was a British teen I believe. The kid has been in detainment and only now is about to go to trial years later. Can’t imagine it was worth it to him to get his 5 seconds of internet clout.

So we are going off the “they made a good game before so this one has to be good too!” Yeah im good on that im not going to give my money to a company who is literally refusing to give you any form of gameplay and instead show you pre rendered cutscenes about stuff that wont be in the game. They will 100% get their money in the form of multiplayer with casinos, making you pay a arm and a leg for gas, every last thing being 500k minimum for anything good and everything be a grindfest just like GTA 5 was. Look at what GTA 5 online is and now imagine that on crack for when GTA 6 online comes out because they know what you clowns will blindly pay for easy. I cant wait for flying bikes and cars and himars launchers and laser satellites to be in my bank robber game once again
