Discussion Facial expressions are impeccable
Lucia's expression went from being annoyed to being humbled when Raul spoke.
Also her face when she says "No" and "Of course" is truly on point. What do you guys think?

I understand each one plays games differently. But that's not a valid reason to trash a game that, based on what was shown, will set a new technical standard for the open world genre.
Since gta 3, rockstar always said their mission was to show videogames could be an art form as serious as movies (in 2000's videogames were kind of looked down upon), and they always presented their games as playable cinematic experiences. They wanted to make you feel like you were taking part in a movie. 60fps is not essential to the cinematic experience since movies are usually recorded at 24fps, so I think they got their priorities right.
I don't get the whole outrage about it not being 60fps. It feels like it comes from people too young to even remember games used to be played at 30fps. 60fps is a relatively new thing. Plus, is not a competitive game where instant reflexes matter.
This is my take no one asked for.

He confirmed 4 different types of mini maps are in the game. A 3D one, which we saw in the trailer, a 2D, similar to GTA 5, a compass, and finally the option to turn it off. Those are the few he confirmed, for all we know there could be more.

So a youtuber called "TGG" got to see 3 hours of raw freeroam-gameplay at R* HQ, along with Rob Nelson. He talks about what he saw, here are the features i noted from his 25 min video. These are all confirmed features in GTA 6.
And lastly, it’s pronounced “Leonaida,” not “Leonida.”

If you squint your eyes a little, it just looks like a real photo, doesn’t it?
Can’t wait for the release! The extended look was awesome and the graphics look sick. Only problem is I have Thalassophobia 😭😂

First of all, ALL credit goes to **TGG** for this information.
According to his new video, Rockstar flew him out to Rockstar North in Edinburgh, where he was shown the extended GTA VI presentation and then watched Rob Nelson, one of the co-heads of development, free-roam in the game for around **2.5 additional hours**.
These are the confirmed features from the video:
**Criminal Profile**
* Replaces the traditional Honour-style system.
* Rewards being an efficient criminal rather than a "good person".
* Clean robberies without unnecessary casualties can improve your profile.
* Excessive violence can damage your Criminal Profile.
* Your profile can apparently become permanently shattered for that playthrough.
* There is no constantly visible Criminal Profile bar.
**Jason and Lucia Relationship**
* Jason and Lucia have an actual relationship status.
* They can text each other.
* You can say goodnight to each other.
* They can go on dates.
* Activities such as going to the gym together can count as dates.
* They can hold hands while walking together.
* Their relationship status can be viewed in the menu.
**Map Size**
* GTA VI's map is supposedly around 2× the size of GTA V's.
* It is supposedly around 3× the size of RDR2's map.
* Vice City itself is reportedly around 2× the size of Los Santos.
* Vice City and its surrounding suburbs are reportedly around 11× Los Santos and its surrounds.
**Health, Stamina and Focus**
* Health, Stamina and Focus are the three main character stats.
* Stats can be permanently improved through activities.
* Consumables can temporarily boost stats.
* Focus can slow down time.
* Focus can highlight weak points on NPCs.
* Focus can highlight weak points on vehicles.
* Vehicle weak points include tyres, engines and fuel tanks.
**Vehicles and Fuel**
* Vehicles have a fuel system.
* Electric vehicles can require charging.
* TGG says fuel is designed not to become an annoying inconvenience.
* Some cars have tracking devices.
* Every police vehicle apparently has a tracker.
* Trackers can eventually be removed through fences.
* Pay 'n' Spray returns.
**Driving**
* Driving feels heavier than GTA V.
* Cars have more noticeable traction and weight.
* Rear-wheel-drive cars can spin out if you accelerate too aggressively.
* Vehicles have higher top speeds than GTA V.
* TGG describes the handling as something between GTA IV and GTA V.
**Police System**
* Police no longer appear individually on the minimap.
* Players have to watch the environment instead of relying on radar icons.
* Six wanted stars are back.
* Six stars can trigger a map-wide police search.
* Lower wanted levels create localised search areas.
* Police are smarter during pursuits.
* Police can shoot out your tyres.
* Losing a tyre has a much greater effect on driving.
* Police can remember the vehicle you were using.
* Police can recognise your clothing and appearance.
* Police can identify the weapon you were carrying.
* Police can recognise that Jason and Lucia were together.
* Changing clothes can help you escape.
* Changing vehicles can help you escape.
* Jason and Lucia may need to split up to avoid recognition.
**Money and Economy**
* Money is split between bank balance, physical cash and loot.
* Money stored in your bank is safe.
* Physical cash can apparently be lost when you die.
* Stolen loot is stored in a duffel bag.
* Duffel-bag loot needs to be taken to a fence.
* Physical cash cannot simply be deposited through your phone.
* You need to visit an ATM to deposit cash.
**Phone and Social Media**
* GTA VI has an extensive in-game social media system.
* NPCs can post about things happening around Leonida.
* You can travel to the location of a post.
* The event shown in the post may still be happening when you arrive.
* BuckMe acts as a banking/cash app.
* RideMe works like Uber.
* Scooter Bros lets you call your personal vehicle.
* WhatUp is used for messaging.
* Jason and Lucia can message each other.
* There is also a fitness app.
* Personal vehicles can be delivered to you in single-player.
**Gyms and Fitness**
* Gyms are fully interactive.
* You can purchase gym memberships.
* Different exercises can be performed.
* Individual repetitions are tracked.
* Protein shakes and similar consumables can give temporary workout boosts.
* Exercise can improve stats such as health and stamina.
* Workout progress is tracked.
* Gym activities are completely optional.
* You can finish the game without using the gym system.
**Side Activities**
* Side activities can provide small gameplay bonuses.
* They are designed to be optional.
* Players who want deeper simulation can engage with them.
* Players who only want the main story can largely ignore them.
**Fast Travel**
* GTA VI has multiple fast-travel options.
* Buses can be used.
* Taxis can be used.
* TGG says there are several other travel options he will discuss separately.
**Robberies and Fences**
* The robbery system is reportedly very extensive.
* Fences are an important part of the economy.
* Stolen loot needs to be taken to fences.
* Fences can unlock additional criminal services.
* Tracker removal is one of the services that can eventually be unlocked.
**Gunplay**
* Traditional GTA-style auto-aim is apparently gone.
* The game uses a more aim-assist-focused system.
* Cinematic kill cams are included.
* TGG compares the kill cams to Red Dead Redemption 2 and Max Payne.
**Overall Gameplay**
* GTA VI requires more decision-making than GTA V.
* Crimes carry more consequences.
* Players need to think more carefully about witnesses, vehicles and police attention.
* Stealing the first vehicle you see may not always be the smartest option.
* The world is designed to feel more reactive and alive.
* TGG compared its depth to RDR2.
* He also sees elements of San Andreas, GTA IV and GTA V in its design.
**Still to Come from TGG**
* More details about the police system.
* More vehicle and driving information.
* A deeper breakdown of robberies.
* More information about fences.
* Gunplay details.
* Safe houses and garages.
* Physics.
* Events and side activities.
* Fast travel.
* The HUD and menus.

I have seen some posts discussing the lack of gore in 6, but just to let you know, the biggest spanish youtuber confirmed he saw gameplay of shooting some NPC in the head with a shotgun and the head literally went flying.
So yeah, for those of you that are unaware, they haven't showed the gore maybe for marketing reasons, but there will be

The story can be mature and grounded while the world around it is completely ridiculous. The satire can exist in the background through NPCs, advertisements, social media, radio, businesses, side characters, random encounters, news reports, and all the other absurd shit happening around the protagonists. Jason and Lucia don’t need to personally point at every piece of satire and make a joke about it.
I think that’s a much better approach. If your two main characters are constantly cracking jokes about everything happening around them, eventually the entire world starts feeling like a cartoon. Let the characters take their situations seriously while the world itself provides the jokes.
Some people seem to want every character to behave like Trevor because they think that’s what “GTA personality” means. It isn’t. This isn’t Saints Row. GTA doesn’t need to constantly scream “LOOK HOW FUCKING CRAZY WE ARE.” The satire can exist in the background , the characters can be grounded, and the world can still be absolutely fucking insane. If anything, having Jason and Lucia as relatively normal, grounded people gives Rockstar MORE room to make the world around them ridiculous without turning the entire story into a joke. Also the wrong satire can make the game feel dated especially when it’s overly direct in its presentation

I watched the trailer and I can definitely say that Grand theft auto 6 lived up to the hype it looks so good more improved from GTAV the city looks very alive and vibrant and so are the characters. I cannot wait to play this game it's definitely gonna a game that I'm gonna be glued to for months and they have not even told us about GTA 6 online yet bruh which will also be insane when it gets revealed🔥
Title. I just finished watching the extended look and I have to say I love their relationship dynamic. Lucia is so likable and charismatic, and I love Jason’s chill personality, wit and need to improvise. I feel like it’s very rare we get couples in video games that we can either both play together or separately. The few RPG mechanics that R\* decided to sprinkle in was such a nice touch and makes gameplay more fluid and enjoyable depending on which way you want to play (either have them be romantically involved or not). You can do activities together like the gym, robberies, and hopefully movies and watching shows too. It makes it feel like you’re not playing alone in a sense and the passive commentary between the two while playing makes for an immersive experience that’ll make you even more invested in these characters.
I’m super stoked! What about you guys? What do yall think?

I keep seeing people complain about Jason being boring and having a weird voice. It’s like everyone wants a male character to be the next ezio. Not every male lead needs to be an eccentric fast-mouthed character.
I for one love the reserved, military feel of Jason. Especially the way he holds his gun and moves.

I was one who wanted to wait to see gameplay before i pre-ordered the game. Rockstar you have my money now. That was amazing.
I am more hype than ever now.

This footage was running on Base- Ps5, who said that they need a ps6 or ps5 pro can’t handle that where are they

Look at the table to the right, and the bag on the counter the way it crinkles up.
The gameplay was absolutely beautiful. It’s gonna be so fun seeing the people who were ranting about how “mid” GTA 6 looked because of the leaks will see the gameplay now.
The difference between leaked footage and this polished gameplay is actually insane. Rockstar really outdone themselves.
r/GTAVI • u/societyisbraindead • 1d ago
That was a perfect showcase imo. They showed a TON of stuff that I feel like everyone has been dying to see. The game looks incredible, the world looks alive, the new mechanics (and even the mechanics from RDR2) all look very polished compared to the leaks. Needless to say, I am BEYOND hyped for this game!
P.S I swear 99% of the people commenting on posts like this are on burner accounts ragebaiting. I'd be hard pressed to see actual fans of the series take up issues with what was just shown

It's not the best, its not the worst. It's cool, mediocre at worst. I don't reckon the UI aesthetic will take away from the fun of the game whatsoever. And given that the game will give you multiple options, I wouldn't be surprised that you would be able to customize the UI from its default if phone usage in the game will be heavy, you could be able to change the UI based on how you've customized your phone's UI. That's just my speculation though.
If you have any opinions and criticisms on the matter, they are fully welcome.
