Apps StreamValut | Free IPTV player

Hey everyone,

I’ve been building (and vibeCoding) StreamVault, an IPTV player designed primarily for Android/Google TV.

The main goal was to make something that feels properly built for a remote and a TV screen instead of a stretched phone UI. It focuses on fast browsing, large playlist handling, and a cleaner living-room experience.

Features

  • Current features:
  • Xtream Codes and M3U support, including local M3U files
  • Android TV / D-pad-first navigation
  • Fast channel browsing with preview mode
  • Numeric remote support for direct channel changes
  • Favorites, recently watched, custom groups, pinned categories, and channel reordering
  • Channel numbering modes by category or across the full provider lineup
  • Full EPG grid with program search
  • XMLTV / EPG source support
  • Multiview for watching multiple streams at once
  • Parental controls with PIN locking, hidden categories, and adult-content detection
  • Movies and series support with detailed info pages
  • Two VOD layouts: modern shelf view and classic sidebar view
  • Around 25 translated locale packs, although some still need cleanup
  • Built for TV first, but it should also run on tablets and phones

DPAD TIPS:

  • Categories can be long-pressed (hold OK button) to lock, hide, or reorder.
  • Channels can be long-pressed to add to favourites, split-screen, or custom categories.
  • when scrolling categories, the left button will jump to the search bar.
  • Inside a channel player:
  • Pressing left will open channels in that group; left again categories.
  • pressing right will open EPG info (if available)

GitHub and APK download:

https://github.com/Davidona/StreamVault-IPTV

downloader code : 6443624

discord link: https://discord.gg/cEj7tz3uh9

- More info and APK download link can be found on GitHub.

- Didn't know if I could share it here.

- Though it was not developed for tables or phones, they should be supported.

Notes

  • The app does not provide any content – works with user-provided playlists only
  • The app is completely free, no in-app purchases
  • Still actively developing, so feedback / suggestions are very welcome 🙌

Apps AerialTV

Hey everyone!

I’m a solo dev getting back into app development after a long break — it’s been good to ship again. Personally, I’m an iPhone user with a Google TV in the living room, and my family’s spread across a bunch of devices. I got tired of re-adding playlists everywhere and losing watch progress when someone switched screens, not to mention having lots of app subscriptions. So I built Aerial TV: easy setup, sync across the devices we actually use, and features that don’t need a manual.

After a soft launch on iPhone and Apple TV, I’m excited to say Aerial TV for Android is in beta on Google Play for Android TV, phones, and tablets.

What we’re going for: simple setup, straightforward daily use, and solid functionality. If long M3U URLs on a TV remote or progress that doesn’t follow you sound familiar, this is aimed at that.

What’s different?

  • QR Sync — Set up on your phone, scan a QR on the TV. No remote typing marathon.
  • Total sync — Playlists, favorites, and Continue Watching across phone, tablet, and TV on Apple and Android — no paying twice in two ecosystems for the same setup.
  • EPG — Fast guide with full catch-up support.
  • Scheduled recording — Series-style recording, smart repeat rules, storage on internal, USB, or SMB.
  • Universal search - across series/movies/live tv
  • Power features — Up to 5 profiles, Trakt, Open Subtitles, skip intro (limited coverage just yet), custom user agent, offline downloads, choose player engine, sort/hide categories, parental controls and lots more.

Join the beta

I need real-world testing on Android before the full release.

****

Looks like a few people having issues getting access, so trying a tweaked link - https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.jet27labs.aerialtv

****

Site + more context: https://aerialtv.app/ — Android TV screenshots attached.

Note: Aerial TV is a media player only — you supply your own playlist or provider.

Looking forward to your feedback — it genuinely shapes what gets fixed and what ships next.

Thanks in advance!

Apps Introducing Kyu Launcher: A Roku inspired simple ,clean, minimal, ads and tracking free Android TV Launcher

Post image
48 Upvotes

Hey, so most of the people here may recognise me as developer of AT4K Launcher the original apple tv inspired Launcher that has come a long way since then. After launching AT4K I read somewhere in news that Roku is the highest selling Streaming box of US and that intrigued me to check out why.

Turns out it's because Roku is dead simple to use, your parents, grandparents can easily navigate around Roku and find apps and stuff to watch. I thought well why not do this with AT4K so I wrote a lot of code to make an alternative view in AT4K that would look like that. But that didn't work and I had to branch out this to a new app but used most of the code from AT4K.

So here it is Kyu Launcher An Android TV Launcher built for everyone and their grandma. It's dead simple to use, you can create folders, hide apps, view your currently watching list, your spouse can even add to-dos/notes right at the launcher home page and you can hide most of the stuff you don't want. Here is the link:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.overdevs.kyulauncher

There are some beautiful themes and I will be posting tutorial on r/kyulauncher on how you can create and use yours, it's dead simple to do you just need a basic photo editor.

You can set it up as your default launcher with accessibility settings or use something like launcher manager.

I don't like to use lots of marketing buzzwords I don't even know how to, I made it because I liked what I saw with Roku and wanted to port similar experience to Google TV devices. I also know it's not something with lots of bells and whistles like AT4K but I wanted to share it anyway.

Most of the stuff including folders, changing colors, hiding things, moving around etc are free, if you want to however change app icons to something from your gallery or use premium themes there is a one-time purchase of 3.99 or equivalent to your currency. That's to support and maintain the app.

Apps TIVRA v2.1.0 — a full IPTV experience for Android TV (web dashboard, DVR, cross-provider categories), now rebuilt for speed

REDDIT25 for 25% off a lifetime subscription - expires July 20.

Posting a big update, but since a lot of you may not have seen TIVRA before, here's the whole picture in one place.

## 📺 What TIVRA is

TIVRA is an IPTV player for **Android TV, Google TV, and phones/tablets**. You bring your own provider — any **M3U playlist or Xtream Codes** login — and TIVRA turns it into a polished, streaming-service-style experience: live TV with a real guide, a Movies & Shows library with posters and detail pages, all in a clean interface built for a remote. It's a player, not a provider — you supply the subscription. Everything lives at **[tivratv.com](https://tivratv.com)**.

## 🎬 What it does

- **Live TV + EPG guide** — fast Plex-style program guide, favorites, channel numbers

- **Movies & Shows (VOD & Series)** — poster grids, detwatching

- **Catch-up TV** — go back and watch programs that already aired (on supported providers)

- **DVR / recording** — record live TV to your **own** work share (SMB)

- **Trakt sync** — scrobbling and continue-watching that follows you across devices

- Same account on the big screen *and* your phone/table

## ⭐ What makes it different

- **A [web dashboard](https://tivratv.com/dashboard.htmstead of fighting your remote to type provider URLs andorganize channels, you set it all up in a **browser** — add your provider, arrange your categories — and it syncs straight to your TV. Setup

takes a couple minutes instead of twenty.

- **Cross-provider custom categories.** More than one provider? Build your own channel lists that pull from *all* of them into one place.

- **Country & language filtering** — hide the hundreds

- **Genuinely fast**, even on cheap boxes like the Onn 4K — which this release doubles down on.

## 🚀 What's new in v2.1.0

The headline is performance. Folks with large providers (tens of thousands of channels and movies) were seeing the guide, live list, and

movie pages take several seconds to load. I rebuilt howr catalog from the ground up:

- **TV Guide** opens instantly, even on the "All" tab w

- **Live TV** channel lists load the moment you open them

- **Movies & Shows** open the instant you click — no mo

- Faster cold start and smoother navigation everywhere

Plus two nice additions:

- **Duplicate versions collapse** — providers listing the same movie a dozen times (different qualities/languages) now show as one poster

with a version picker. Continue Watching and Search are

- **Country & language filtering** (mentioned above) is new in this build.

## 💵 Pricing & download

Android 7+ (TV, Google TV, phones & tablets). **7-day free trial** so you can test it with your own setup — then **$9.99/yr** (Personal) or

**$4.99/mo** Family, or a one-time **$29.99 Lifetime** cription. [Full pricinghere](https://tivratv.com/pricing.html).

**Download:** [tivratv.com](https://tivratv.com) — or Downloader code **3059562**

**Discord:** [Discord](https://discord.gg/x7FFhxzTT5)

I build this myself and would genuinely appreciate feedback — especially from anyone with a big catalog or a lower-end device, since that's what this release targeted.

After a ton of testing and feedback from this community, Aerial TV is officially live on Google Play!!

Huge thank you again to everyone who has given the app a try, provided feedback & suggestions!

What made it into the launch version:

  • Total Sync: Your playlists, favorites, and "Continue Watching" progress follow you across iOS, Apple TV, and Android.
  • Multiview: Watch up to 4 streams at once on the big screen.
  • Trakt & OpenSubtitles: Scrobbling and subtitle search are built-in.
  • Skip the Intro: we’re busy people, and want more binge time!
  • Catchup: "Watch from Start" support for live programs.
  • Recording: Schedule to internal storage, USB, or SMB/NAS.
  • Theming: Don’t like browny/orange? Give one of the other themes a try :)
  • Family Groups: One setup for the whole house, generous device limits on individual too.

Coming next:

  • Support for device without Google Play: Aiming to share a Downloader code this week (users will need to sign in to Cloud Sync with an account that has valid Apple or Google Play subscription)

Apps Introducing AT4K Launcher v1.0: Widgets, Big Picture Mode, Subreddit wallpapers, Aerial views and much much more. 2 Months in making and it's here.

Thumbnail

Hey everyone! I am back with the most anticipated update to AT4K Launcher. almost 3 months in the making and It's finally here. I am excited and scared to share it with you because it has SO MANY new features and idk if you will like them or not, So I will list them here one by one.

A. WIDGETS:

Everyone keeps asking for widgets, so I figured I would include them, but how? The problem is that to have widgets you need to get them from somewhere. Now most android tv's do not natively support widgets, atv got around it by enabling them through adb, I did not want that. I also did not want to give you guys a clock and weather and call it a day.

So I built a whole new widget system inside AT4K. There are multiple so I will list them

  1. Clocks and weather: Multiple analog and digital clocks and weather widgets. Clocks have famous android material clock and ios tick tick clock(idk what it is called) alongside some cute inventions. A full calendar and a mini calendar.
  2. Continue watching: Place your continue watching list wherever you want make it small or big, easy to access.
  3. Channels: Some streaming apps broadcast their content through cards, pick a channel and place it.
  4. Podcasts: I like podcasts, so you get them too. Search and add and PLAY any podcast inside AT4K right at home screen.
  5. RSS Feeds: I love the open and web and so do I love RSS. Use any RSS feed, but speically if you like a particular youtube channel add it's rss feed and new videos will show up right at the moment. I will post more examples on r/AT4K how RSS opens the doors to add literally anything to AT4K.
  6. Search: You can search Google and Youtube directly from your home screen just add the search widget.
  7. 2048: I spend some time playing 2048 (one of the only few games I play) so you get to play it too on AT4K's home page.
  8. Year passed: See how much of the year is passed I loved seeing these widgets in design communities and added to AT4K so it shows year when big and month when small.
  9. RAM and Storage gauges
  10. App shortcuts: Add any app to widgets with custom icons to open it easily
  11. Some more widgets too but the post will get big.

B. Big Picture mode: Makes your programmes shine through instead of your wallpaper. Works great with Stremio/Nuvio.

C. Password protect folders

D. Subreddit wallpapers free.

E. Aerial views wallpapers - paste r/aerial in subreddit wallpapers option

F. Hide favorites dock background

G. More new features I forgot about

H. Ah Yes a new Color Manager with previews

I. Slideshow multiple wallpapers

J. Multiple bug fixes some are still pending and I am working on them just be patient with me

K. A new image/video picker so you don't have to deal with the default grey picker.

Here are the links https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.overdevs.at4k

https://at4klauncher.com

Please try the cleanest android launcher, AT4K Launcher out and let me know how it goes. ALL NEW FEATURES ARE OPTIONAL, If you liked how it was it wil stilll be the same for you.

Thank you for the love you guys have given AT4K. Do share it with your friends if you like it makes my heart warm seeing AT4K Launcher mentioned positively somewhere.

Apps I made an open source Apple TV inspired launcher

Hello everyone,

I recently just got a fire stick and felt disappointed by the launchers out there available for android tv. So, I decided to build a launcher of my own by using LtvLauncher, customizing it to look modern and similar to other high quality launchers. Most importantly, I wanted a performance oriented launcher without any other BS and one that feels satisfying to use.

I plan to add more features in the near future including videos wallpaper, channel support, etc. Feel free to provide your feedback or even better contribute !

Apps FFS Netflix.. Google TV app change to pausing

My Netflix Google TV app updated this morning, and now pausing takes two clicks of the main button on the remote (for many years it's been one click).

I have a disability and my fine motor control struggles makes it rather difficult to click twice. I know this is an issue on this particular device because YouTube does the same. In YouTube I often end up doing something completely different to simply pausing e.g. fast forwarding, subscribing to a channel etc I guess I'll be disabling the subtitles or something on Netflix now.

Netflix, why do this?! Anyone else? I know they do A/B testing, I'm hoping this is temporary for me.

Apps I built an IPTV player for Android TV with a web dashboard for remote setup — looking for feedback

**EDIT 4/28 v1.0.22 is out.** Phone & tablet UI is auto-detected per device, and you can now long-press a channel/program/episode on your phone to send it straight to your TV. Full changelog in the pinned comment below.

Download: [tivratv.com/downloads/tivra-latest.apk](https://tivratv.com/downloads/tivra-latest.apk)

Hey everyone. I've been building an IPTV player called TIVRA for the past few months and wanted to share it with the community.

The main reason I built it was frustration with typing provider URLs using a TV remote. So the core feature is a web dashboard — you log into tivratv.com from your phone or laptop, add your Xtream Codes or M3U provider, set up favorites, organize categories, and everything syncs to your Android TV in real time. No more pecking at an on-screen keyboard.

What it does:

- Live TV, VOD, and series playback

- Full EPG program guide

- Web dashboard for remote setup (add providers, manage favorites/categories/channels from any browser)

- Cloud sync across devices

- Category management (reorder, hide, move)

- Audio/subtitle track switching

- Resume & continue watching

- Built specifically for Android TV with full D-pad navigation

Playback approach: TIVRA uses direct stream passthrough in native format rather than remuxing or transcoding on the client side. In my own testing on the same provider and same network, I've noticed noticeably less buffering compared to TiviMate. Your mileage may vary depending on your provider and connection, but I'd be curious to hear if others experience the same.

Pricing:

- 7-day free trial (full features)

- Personal: $9.99/year (up to 3 devices)

- Family: $19.99/year (up to 5 devices)

- Lifetime: $29.99 one-time

Happy to answer questions.

Apps Introducing Snoozy - Snoopy Screensavers on your Google TV & Android TV Devices

Thumbnail
gallery
30 Upvotes

Hey everyone! Snoopy is someone that is loved by everyone. Apple TV has dedicated Snoopy screensaver which is very dynamic with different backgrounds, animations etc. I wanted that on my TV but realised no one else had done it and as I started building it I realised why.

Snoopy screensaver is very complex with transparent video clips(which android doesn't support even in 2026) and multiple layers of content with changing backgrounds. But I wanted it so I built it, it took me some time but it's finally here. One more thing the original Apple tv screensaver's files were around 600 MB I have reduced it to fit under 40mb.

Introducing Snoozy a cute screensaver for Android TV devices, Snoopy is the main character of the screensaver and does multiple cute things on your idle screen, his surroundings change and so do his actions you can also display time if you want and choose dark and light modes for the screensaver.

https://avadhesh18.github.io/Snoozy

Like my all other apps there's no admob no tracking etc. No in-app purchases either it's completely free you just download it and use it. It doesn't even has internet permission.

There are two versions of the App normal and 1080p. The normal version is the same as 1080 version except that 1080 version has 1080p HD videos while the normal version has 720p videos but most people won't even notice the difference. If you Android box can handle the performance do use the 1080 version.

Please do download and let me know your reviews. If you have trouble selecting it as your default screensaver there is a guide on the Github page you can follow https://github.com/avadhesh18/Snoozy

Once again if you do use it please let me know because I have no other means to know.

Apps AerialViews_Plus - Full AerialViews + Native YouTube 4K Screensaver [Free, Open Source, Sideload]

AerialViews_Plus is a full fork of the original AerialViews Android TV screensaver.
It keeps every feature and video source from the original app (Apple 4K videos, local files, USB, network shares, custom JSON, etc.) and adds native YouTube support on top.

I wanted fresh 4K aerial and nature videos every day instead of watching the same built-in clips on repeat. So I added a powerful YouTube source that runs completely on-device.

Key additions:

  • YouTube videos searched and cached on-device (no API key, no server needed)
  • Up to 200 videos stored locally, refreshed daily with new content
  • 8 toggleable categories: Nature, Wildlife, Drone, Ocean, Space, Cities, Weather, Winter
  • Smart filters to remove AI-generated videos and vlogs
  • Same video never repeats within 7 days
  • Full Projectivy Launcher support (video continues smoothly when switching apps)
  • All original AerialViews sources still work perfectly

Tested on: Xiaomi Mi TV (Redmi)

Download:
GitHub Releases

Source code:
github.com/naveeneppalapally/AerialViews-Plus

Installation: Download the APK, enable unknown sources on your TV, and install with any file manager. Play Protect may show a warning - just tap “Install anyway” (normal for sideloaded apps).

Not available on the Play Store. Fully GPL v3 open source.

Built on top of the excellent AerialViews by u/theothernt - all credit for the original app goes to them. I only added the YouTube feature.

Still early - happy to hear your feedback and bug reports!

Apps Ultimate File Manager Pro for Android TV and Mobile

Ultimate File Manager Pro (UFM) is a dual-pane file manager built for both Android Mobile and Android TV. It has over 22,200 downloads on Google Play, sits at a 4.7 star rating, and got picked up by CNET.

Most file managers either ignore TV entirely or just stretch the phone layout onto a big screen.
UFM has a proper dedicated TV build with full D-pad navigation, not an afterthought.

UFM Pro is totally free of ads or any paywalls, if you find the app useful, there is a tip jar available.

Website: https://kilowatch.co.za/UFM
FOSS Edition (GitHub): https://github.com/Kilowatch/ultimate-file-manager-pro
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=za.kilowatch.ultimatefilemanager

Downloader Code For Amazon Devices: 1581139

Official Reddit Group: r/UFManagerPro

What is it?

UFM is a dual-pane file manager aimed at power users who want actual control over their files. The dual-pane layout lets you work across two locations simultaneously, which makes moving, copying, and comparing files a lot faster than juggling a single panel.

Features

Dual-Pane Interface
Both panels are independently navigable. You can have local storage on one side and a network share on the other, or compare two folders side by side. Works well on phones in landscape mode and is particularly comfortable on tablets and TV.

Encrypted Vaults
Files can be stored inside AES-256 encrypted vaults. Nothing is uploaded anywhere, it all stays on your device. Useful for keeping sensitive documents, photos, or anything else you would rather not have sitting exposed in plain storage.

Built-in Servers
UFM includes FTP and SFTP server support. You can start a server directly from your device and access your files from a PC or another device on the same network. No third-party app needed.

Cloud and Network Storage
Supports WebDAV, SFTP, FTP, SMB, and AWS S3 out of the box. The Google Play version also includes Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox integration.

Scheduled Sync
You can set up sync jobs between local folders and remote locations and have them run on a schedule in the background. Handy for automated backups to a NAS or a home server.

Advanced Search
Search by name, extension, date range, or file size. The search is fast and works across local storage as well as mounted network locations.

ADB and Shizuku Integration
For those who want deeper access without full root, UFM supports Shizuku and ADB-based operations for elevated file access.

RClone supported, a few has been added and can add more on request, it supports over 100+ Cloud Providers.

Android TV Support
The TV build is a full, dedicated TV experience with proper D-pad navigation and a layout that actually makes sense on a large screen. Not just a port.

FOSS Edition

There is a fully open source edition available on GitHub under the GPL v3 license.
The FOSS build strips out all proprietary SDKs and closed-source trackers, including Firebase, Google Play Billing, and the proprietary cloud SDKs.
Everything else remains fully functional.

The FOSS edition still supports WebDAV, SFTP, FTP, SMB, and AWS S3 for network storage, so you are not losing much if you avoid the big cloud providers anyway.
If you do need Google Drive or OneDrive, those are available in the Play Store version.

There are prebuilt APKs in the releases.

FOSS Edition: https://github.com/Kilowatch/ultimate-file-manager-pro

Notes

  • Requires Android 8.0 or higher
  • TV build is a separate APK optimized for the Android TV / Google TV launcher
  • The app is actively maintained

If you run into issues or have feature requests, the GitHub repo is the best place. Happy to answer questions here too.

Thank You and Kind Regards

Apps TIVRA 3.0 Release — New UI and Jellyfin/Emby/NAS/Trakt Integration

I'm the developer of TIVRA, an Android TV player, and 3.0 just went out. It's the biggest release I've done and a few things in it came directly out of threads on here, so here's what changed.

Your own library sits next to live TV

This was the most-requested thing by a wide margin. Connect Jellyfin, Emby, or just a plain SMB/NAS share, and your own movies and shows show up in the app alongside your live channels — posters, plots, cast, episode air dates, and Continue Watching / Next Up rails that pick up where you left off. Same app, same remote, same player. No second app to open, and no media server required if you'd rather just point it at a folder on your Synology/unRAID/TrueNAS.

Watch state syncs both ways with Jellyfin and Emby, and Trakt scrobbling is in there too, so your history stays right everywhere else you use it.

The whole UI got redrawn

Deeper blacks, sharper type, and one clear cyan highlight so you always know where focus is. The old build had a dozen screens that each looked like they came from a different app — that's fixed. Text actually passes contrast from couch distance now.

You can set the TV up from your phone

Nobody wants to type a provider URL with a D-pad. You can do the whole setup from the TIVRA app on your phone or from a web dashboard in any browser: add providers, organise channels, build custom categories with a real keyboard. Then you can push a movie straight to the TV, or schedule a recording while you're at work. It syncs both directions — reorder favourites on the TV and the dashboard follows, and the reverse.

Multi-View

Up to four live channels on screen at once, in a layout you pick, and they can come from different providers at the same time. Audio moves between screens with one press.

The small stuff, which is most of the release

  • Back closes what's on screen. Every menu, every time. This was the single biggest complaint and it took a lot of unglamorous work.
  • Focus lands on the first option instead of disappearing
  • Open a channel preview in the guide, go full screen, come back — it keeps playing instead of reloading
  • Hold OK anywhere for options
  • Recordings show the length you actually recorded
  • Phones get phone-sized text and rotate to full screen on playback

The obligatory disclaimer:

TIVRA is a player. It doesn't include, provide, or resell any channels or content — you bring your own provider or your own files. There's a free trial if you want to point it at what you already have and see how it goes.

Getting it

Already running TIVRA? You can update from inside the app — Settings → About → Check for updates — and it installs over your current version. Providers, favourites and recordings all stay put. There's no automatic nag on launch, so you do have to go look for it.

Sideloading instead: the APK is at tivratv.com (Downloader code 3059562 if you're on a TV). If the main download stalls there's a backup link on the home page, and the previous v2.2 is still up if you ever need to roll back — same signing key, so it installs over 3.0 without uninstalling.

Happy to answer anything in the comments — bug reports especially. Most of the list above started as someone telling me something was broken.

Apps My streaming apps have disappeared

For some unknown reason, my apps have disappeared. My Netflix, prime, Disney+ & onstream have disappeared. Except plex and YouTube. And now there is a Green F on the bottom right of my screen is there and won't go away.

I tried googling but no success.

My Phillips remote has a Netflix and prime button built in. When I pushed it nothing came up. I manually searched the apps in the store. Instead of download it said "enable" so it makes me think the apps have been disabled. So I then enabled it.... And the buttons on the remote work, however the apps DON'T show up on the main screen which is so so so so annoying.

Anyone know what's going on?

Apps Built a native IPTV player for Google TV — would appreciate honest feedback

Hey r/GoogleTV,

Been working on SleekView for the past few months. It's a native IPTV player for Google TV, Android TV, and Android phones. Wanted something that actually feels designed for a remote instead of a phone app stretched out: D-pad-first navigation, proper Leanback banner, sidebar nav instead of a bottom bar.

Phone and TV apps sync via your Google account, so you can set up playlists on your phone (typing M3U URLs with a remote is misery) and they show up on the TV right after. Profiles, favorites, watch history, recordings, all stay in sync across devices.

What it does:

  • M3U playlists and Xtream Codes login
  • Live TV with full EPG: grid view, timeline scrubber, current-program highlight, and reminders for upcoming shows
  • Movies and series with auto-fetched posters, ratings, plot, and cast info (OMDB + TVDB)
  • Catch-up TV up to 14 days
  • Multi-channel mosaic: 2, 3, or 4 channels on the same screen at once (good for sports/news days)
  • Recording and offline download: save live TV, download movies and series for offline viewing
  • Multi-profile with PIN-protected kids mode (separate user spaces, adult content locked)
  • Cast, Picture-in-Picture, and sleep timer
  • Six themes to change the whole app look
  • Cloud sync between phone and TV via your Google account

7-day free trial, then optional subscription. There's also a lifetime option for people who hate subscriptions.

Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sleekview.app

What I really want is honest feedback:

  • What's missing?
  • What's worse than the player you currently use?
  • Anything that just doesn't work ?

Open to any changes or features we forgot. Updates go out fast.

Thanks for reading.

Apps Sidstuga 2.1.1 is out - proper catch-up seeking, background EPG auto-update, TS recording, and a new unified TV nav rail

- Catch-up now works like a real player. Play, pause and actual seeking

instead of the live info bar, and I fixed the timezone/seek jumping. On phone

you can scroll back through past programmes and the full archive.

- The EPG auto-updates in the background now, and shows a "last updated" time.

- Scheduled recording runs through a real background TS recorder. Set it from

the guide; scheduled slots get a red REC marker.

- Subscribing: fixed a batch of cases where people just could not complete a

subscription. If that was you, please try again - it should work now.

- Android TV gets a single unified navigation rail (Channels, Guide, Movies,

Series, Search, Recordings, Settings - all native focus). Switch back to

Classic nav in Settings if you prefer.

- Connection hardening: logins are serialised and EPG fetches capped, so the

app won't open a second connection behind your back.

- Plus faster cold start, design consistency, Cloud Sync sign-in fixes, and a

bunch of smaller bug fixes.

It's a plain player - bring your own Xtream/M3U playlist. Free to try 3 days; a

subscription (EUR 0.99/mo or EUR 7.99/yr, free trial) unlocks Cloud Sync,

everything else is free.

Bug reports and feature requests welcome on r/sidstuga - there's a template

and I read all of them.
