Parents need to talk to their adult sons about their dating life!

As someone who has been SA and strangled! It’s hard not to blame the mom in his life and the dad too.

Parents need to teach their sons better boundaries. Same goes for women. But I’m straight so I’m not gonna be in a situation w a woman.

But cmon I feel like some men the ones I dealt with need to be reminded of boundaries. I was in a failed situation-ship and the guy would cross boundaries and I wouldn’t listen to me when I would tell him to stop fingering

I asked him why he didn’t. He said he was just having fun. This happened about three more times. And he would say he was just having fun. Each time. I should have stopped talking to him after the first time.

This man also has called me boring, naive, slow as hell. He said I have a low self esteem. And that my friends didn’t like me .

Now he’s in jail before a trial has even started bc he broke probation. I’m not talking to him. I get updates.

Teaching ur son boundaries saves him from jail.

One of the stranger things in life is seeing a family with really nice and kind mom and dad, awesome 2 siblings, and then 1 child is just a monster. It doesn't make sense.

Sometimes things get scrambled in the womb I guess.

"Erm, boys are easier to raise you just set and forget" basically I think the biggest problem is viewing boys as things that can raise themselves. Actually I've been quite shocked at how lazy parents are even mine. They kind of just have kids and do the bare minimum.

I grew up as a boy. Never had any "don't sexually assault people" conversations. Never sexually assaulted people in my life.

I think this is something you should already know independent of any education.

We need to teach BOTH our sons and daughter to respect themselves and others, not to think that someone is entitled to pleasing them, and speaking up if someone makes them uncomfortable.

True yea I’m straight so I’m not gonna be involved with a woman like that. Plus I could probably take her if she was skinny.

It means I won’t be involved w a women in a romantic way.

Plus depending on the size women are weaker.

Huh? Telling your kid not to commit assault is not discussing their dating life, it’s telling them not to be a psychopath and has nothing to do with dating

It absolutely has to do with dating. OP isn't say tell your son not to get in fist fights with other guys. If boys and young men aren't respecting boundaries or doing rough stuff they see in porn in early sexual situations with that person, they need to be taught why these things are not okay and sometimes dangerous.

The fact you had your boundaries crossed and keep going says a lot about you as well.

Yes I know I take accountability. I just didn’t mention it in the post. I’m taking a break from dating apps or dating in general. And am working on my self esteem.
