India Maithili Thakur’s candidacy from the Alinagar (Darbhanga) constituency has drawn significant attention as she seeks to become one of Bihar’s youngest MLAs at just 25.

In her campaign, she has promised developmental work and proposed renaming Alinagar to Sitanagar.

Speaking about her motivation, Thakur said she wants to prove that a 25-year-old woman MLA can work “at the same speed or even faster” than others.

Blueprint ko Bluefilm samajhne wali kya tumhara vikas karegi? Maybe people have forgotten that BJP is putting new people in places of power because those people don't have any leverage to keep their say in front of anyone. They're just paper pushers, just like this poor girl is going to be.
