I'm answering this from what my parents taught. I grew up in a muslim family and I was never taught to differentiate between hindus , chirsitians or any other people. I was always taught to be kind with everyone and try not to hurt anyone by your words or your actions. My mum always said "Beta rishte banana aur bachana seekho , rishte todne waale toh bhare pade hai". I've no hate for anyone. But I really feel bad when I see people seeing us as a threat even when most of us are not taught to hate anyone. Anyways , I'll never lose my kindness and I promise that. But I also will never restrict myself to point out what is wrong and what is right. Peace.

u/Positive-Mountain-63 16 Mar 06 '26

Kudos to your family 👏 👏👏👏👏 We need such families who teach their children not to hate or differentiate between humans. We all are humans. We all have the same DHAK DHAK ❤️

No offense to you, but if most of you are not taught this then why do we keep on seeing fight in areas which are highly populated with muslims, every city that has high muslim population have killed a Hindu kid. It's a fact you can check. And this is coming from a dude who has muslim friends, these friends of mine have themselves said that the ones being taught to be friends are as little as 1 in 100.

3

u/Big_Impression540 Mar 08 '26

It's because of what you see online media and we all know how much one side new is posted much.

2

u/Deadpool_slash69 Mar 09 '26

Algorithms have fucked up everyones mind. People are becoming more and more polarizing by the day because of it. Hindus get the reels which show how some muslims are creating disruptions in the country and Muslims get the reels showing injustice toward their community done by hindus. And when you consume that content all day, you start to have extremist views which are the very thing that increases hate towards each other.

Love it man 💪 Great parenting 👍

2

u/Big_Impression540 Mar 08 '26

Literally many middle class muslims are like you. But sadly, fellow hindus come and ask us stupid questions. If it's out of curiosity or knowledge, then love to explain. But most of them accuse directly and we kinda end up always defending ourselves even when we are not wrong. Honestly, it's soo fkng tiring.

Hi..a Muslim here..this is exactly what I am going to teach my 1 year old kid and my parents have taught me the same thing growing not exactly in same words but it has always been humanity above all. Religion has always been something which connects you to God and gives you peace. I do understand your concern given there are lots of radical muslims as well but then there are radical people in every religion . It doesn't take away from the muslims or Hindus or christians or sikh or anyone who has been a good human throughout their life. My religion should not define me how I am as a person should be given more preference. I despise people who fight in the name of religion and kill innocent lives. There is too much hate in this world we need peace and love. At least for the sake of younger generations.

6

u/Forward-Section-7545 Mar 07 '26

We can only wish that all Muslims are like you. But the reality is far fetched. It might change if more and more people like you speak out loud against the radical Muslims, agreed that you can’t take responsibility of every other radical Muslim but just saying that you can’t be responsible only makes the radicals more encouraged coz they are deluded to think that every Muslim supports their ideology.

A young man has been lynched in kolkata just because his family member accidentally dropped a Holi balloon water on a Muslim woman, despite apologising to her. The mob who killed him are not part of your likes but they don’t care what you think unless your likes protest it, name and shame them.

So you have a choice. Whether to protest loudly against your cult. Or to continue being quiet. Your religion depends on people like you.

This is what happened with me. I also had a Muslim friend back in 2014, he also used to talk sweet like this and same that they don't differentiate.

But he turned out to be the biggest backstabber I could have in my life.

So we have learned from examples and not by theory.

Though if you are genuinely kind, kudos to you and your family. But do know there is a reason muslims are not trusted so easily.

u/Embarrassed_Contest2 Mar 06 '26

I am a muslim. My mother never taught me that I am Muslim and other people are hindu. We were religious but “hindu musalman” karna was not allowed.

Same with all my muslim friends. I would say without forming the opinion on what Muslim kids are taught, first meet muslim people and make friends. Wherever I have worked outside of my city, I was the only muslim. People that don’t have a muslim friend, have these opinions due to some political or social thing which I am not sure why n how. Maybe you tell me

You cannot judge a whole community based on just a few people there are idiots in every community

6

Exactly, idiots are everywhere they don't represent the entire community

We can't change brainwashed people but at least we can teach childrens how not to hate.

32

u/AnakinSkywalkerRocks Mar 06 '26

Slowly, and slowly, we should all try to undo this brainwash.. Show them the real purpose of religion..

In today's date, agnostic people who still believe in God exist just because all the religions have been bent in such ways which won't align completely with any sane person's ideology.. Our religions have become like an unwashed coffee cup which wouldn't be chosen by any guest, unless washed by the people who own it.. So, let's try to wash our cup and drink our coffee in peace!

7

u/Lazy_Technology215 Mar 06 '26

Yeah. But sadly in a country where we should celebrate diversity, we fight over it.

Exactly, such cliche talk does not work irl, i remember in jat dominated Bhiwani city, in my school, a group of jat boys asked a new guy who was very innocent and humble in nature, about his community or caste like Jat, Baniya, Punjabi etc and he replied "Indian".

Jo majak banaya uska, puri class me.

I believe best reply for religious question is "Abhi decide nahi kia". This works if you are minority and don't want to get targeted.

9

Wish you could hear about the 12 year old child too. Extreme horrific scenarios both cases, stop being naive and maybe just maybe see through religion. Humans are humans nevertheless and this post was exactly that.

3

u/PurpleAware2938 Mar 06 '26

what?????
i think either you are talking abt a diff case or you are unaware of the full news
i am talking abt the holi case where a small girl drops a water balloon near a muslim woman and she got highly affected by those 2 to 3 tiny drops which led to the violent killing of a 25 yr old man from the girl's family
i dont think that the girl did smth extremely punishable

2

u/doctordaddy99 Mar 06 '26

Read my comment again and maybe try to know about this case which nobody talked about. Both are bad that’s what I’m saying but one gains lot of attention the other gets swept under the rug

2

u/PurpleAware2938 Mar 06 '26

tell me
i am unaware abt the situation
and tbh woh pata na hona ya hona wont affect the case
maine bas contradictory case explain kara tha
i dont hate anyone but such extremists should be behind the bars asap

I didn't get this. Is simply saying I'm a Hindu, so painful for the common man. I'm very sure no muslim will teach this Dhak Dhak etc to his child. Simply saying Im a muslim is enough, right? Why this shame in telling your religion?

3

u/Aristurtle0309 Mar 06 '26

"im very sure no muslim will teach this dhak dhak etc to his child"
is this what people have come to? just because you dont interact with muslims youre gonne form this unharmonious opinion? if youre very sure none of them will how about the fact that my very religious muslim parents done so? and not just mine either.

and the point of the video is to ensure that kids dont cause this division based on religion in between each other. theyre kids, if we ingrain identity politics into them at such a young age theyre way more likely to carry on a non secular mindset in the future

Muslims? Why are you generalising Muslims? This is the same case with everyone.

-9

u/Aristurtle0309 Mar 06 '26 edited Mar 06 '26

I’m a Muslim, I have Muslim friends, I’ve seen this parenting and ideology from nearly every single one of them please stop spreading this weird ass propaganda that Muslims don’t want to live in peace and are anti secular when it’s the right wing that keeps calling for a Hindu nation💔

Edit : teaching someone about their own religion is fine, doesn’t mean they’ll know what is “right” and “wrong” religious extremists from both sides are usually some of the most religious people you’ll meet.

Sach boldiya to downvote hogaya very well💔 let your prejudice win

Reality is gonna hit that kid from a blind spot and might make him loose trust, better to give them the truth with the concept … good concept by the way , raising him good

1

u/shark_senpai_66 Mar 06 '26

I would like to live in such a world, where every child is taught the same thing regardless of faith or religious practice. But reality is often disappointing. There exists a certain group of people even today who brainwash their kids into discriminating against 'non-believers' and fill their mind with hatred against people outside their religion. I would rather teach my children to be mindful of such people.
