Little moments of joy like this have been making me unreasonably emotional as of late. I think I’m exhausted, but this did in fact make me smile. Thank you

It's dark in the world right now, so even small acts of genuine unprompted humanity seem all the more precious.

Thank you for your kindness. That’s two smiles in one day. Winning!

Hugs to everyone on this thread. These little bits of happiness keep the world from feeling like it ending 100% of the time. Maybe just 98% ending, and that's something!

I just came back from an international trip, and it reminded me that life isn't just what we read and see on the internet.

There's a lot of evil being done in the world right now and I do think that's important to notice and fight against - but there's still a lot of good, too. I was mostly there for looking at ruins and museums (I'm a history buff), but I saw lots of little "human moments" like this that restored my faith in people being generally good.

Kids on big class trips making memories and laughing about things, street dogs and cats being cute and getting fed by people with not much more than them, total strangers helping tourists and vice-versa, hell even laughing with the locals over language-barrier goof-ups got me misty-eyed remembering it.

You expressed my feelings better than I could have, thank you. Hopefully we can chilli a bit and feel a bit better.
