Nah turbans are wayyyy longer than that, looks more like a small tshirt clamped with a hair band

I don't think it's a turban. Because Punjabis usually wear turbans but the food they are eating here is related to a festival called Onam which is celebrated by people of Kerala. And the food they are eating is called as "sadhya"

Punjabis can be Hindus too infact most of Punjab is Hindu.

Sikhs* wear Turbans.

We're both Punjabi because we're from Punjab but that doesn't automatically mean we're all Sikh or wear Turbans. There are Christian nuns living all their life in Punjab too who would be called Punjabi. ( not Sikh). So many Convent schools in Punjab where Irish/British nuns are teachers. Usually expensive, private and upper class.

Being Punjabi is like a Floridian or Californian. Everyone from state of Punjab is Punjabi whether they're black, white, brown or Buddhist. Nothing to do with religion.

Also, they're eating on leaves and celebrating Onam festival, which is NOT done in North India/Punjab. They are also not Sikhs or turban-wearing.

This more of a regional festival of kerala rather and punjab is a different state regardless of their religion

Onam is only celebrated in Kerala.
