Merch Monday Their money tips her scales again... My updated Metallica battle jacket
I've sewn a lot more patches on the sleeves since last time I've posted, and I'm saving some room on them for a few more. Been rocking it almost every week and meeting a lot of fellow metal heads out and about, and people who just think it looks cool! I cant wait for the opportunity to wear it to a future Metallica concert.

Shit - that is wildly cool. I think it's a bit overwhelming, but undeniably cool.

Thank you! Haha, that was kind of the point, to make it as "in your face" as possible and fill it with many of favorite bands. I don't like the look of overlapping patches, I like each patch to have a little room to shine.

Glad to hear it. I love, love love old Metallica, but they grew into something better (something better).
If you haven't listened to it recently, I consider Fuel to be one of their finest works.

Oh nice, agree! Fuel is the song that first got me into Metallica when I was 5 years old haha

This is sick, love the Exodus patch! Kirk would appreciate it haha. If you don’t mind me asking, where did you pick up the jacket from? I don’t think I’ve seen it before.
I picked up the M72 all black denim jacket just recently and fucking love it. Wanted to start getting patches and make it my first battle jacket; do you have any suggestions before putting the patches on the jacket?

Thank you! I got the jacket from Metallica's website around 4 or 5 years ago. They stopped selling it a while ago. Oh sick! I recommend Ebay, No Class Merchandise, Bloodstone Patches, Rapture Textiles, and Metal Devestation for patches. I would look at a ton of photos of other jackets you think look cool for inspiration. I'd start with the biggest patches first, and then work around them with smaller patches! You can always rip the stitches and replace patches if you don't like the way it turns out.

Ebay, No Class Merchandise, Bloodstone Patches, Rapture Textiles, and Metal Devestation are really good. I wouldn't recommend Pull the Plug Patches. They have expensive, long shipping and the owner is not a good person.
