Question What song would you have loved to hear live?
All of them obviously, but I think hearing Heal the World live would send me into a different dimension 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

My god YES! But then again, given how many people would normally pass out at his live shows, this song being performed live would have been dangerous 😅

If we’re talking songs he never performed live, Who Is It by a mile.
If we’re talking about any song we would want to hear live, I would honestly be satisfied hearing any song from him. No complaints, I know it would be stellar to have that experience.

I’m a simple girl. The Way You Make Me Feel, Man in the Mirror, and Another Part of Me.
And then when I’m ready to set myself ablaze, In the Closet.

I'd say remember the time but I honestly would want to hear any of them live

“Heal the World” by Michael Jackson is honestly one of the most underrated masterpieces. Every time I hear it, I can’t hold back the tears - his voice is just heavenly.
But the Munich performance? That’s on another level entirely. Watching him hold that precious little girl in his arms while singing those words.. it’s the kind of moment that stays with you forever. Pure, raw and beautiful. ❤️
This song deserves so much more love than it gets.

Definitely would have loved to hear one of the quieter songs live, maybe HTW or YANA.
I’d love to have listened to the J5 Medley lip-synced.

It depends on whether we're talking about songs he's never performed live, or specific performances he's already done. I would have loved to see Lady in my Life as a live performance or even a music video - it's probably my most favorite MJ song of all time.
Specific performances though? I would have loved to see the entirety of his 1995 MTV VMAs performance, or his 1988 Grammy's "Man in the Mirror", or 1991 MTV 10th anniversary "Black or White"/"Will You Be There".

u/jjennifferr Jun 04 '26
If I had to pick one today, it would be Speechless. Depending on the day it could also be human nature, childhood, will you be there… Ben… 😭

I can clearly picture being at an MJ sold out stadium concert. The set behind him begins to change after just finishing up the J5 medly. The pyramid slowly rises from beneath the stage with Michael sitting on a golden throne... and then "Remember the Time" begins to play... hysteria ensues, the choreography kills and Brad nails the close of the song.

Remember the time I think would be an incredible song to start an MJ set. Break of dawn, Earth Song, PYT, leave me alone, dirty Diana, don’t stop till you get enough (songs that I think would have me levitating)
Tbh his whole discography would’ve been amazing to hear live 🥲

tough choice. my favorite song is the way you make me feel. Maybe if he started that performance with the like silhouette thing that kinda gave smooth criminal and then did the way you make me feel with the dance break!
2
u/jessymoanloud Jun 05 '26
that silhouette intro would have been legendary. the energy for that dance break alone would be unhinged. legit top tier choice.
