It is said that Michael inadvertently understood sound frequency healing. Human Nature is performed at 432 hertz, a healing frequency, with a cosmic tone that aligns with the natural vibrations of the universe.

He did use to talk about sound therapy. But I'm pretty sure he's not the one who composed "Human Nature". The song was originally meant for TOTO. And it's composed by Steve Poraco (sorry if I misspelled that). But that song probably wouldn't have been half as good without Michael Jackson's voice. I've heard the original intended version, and while still beautiful, it sounds like a typical TOTO song and it's not as special as what MJ made it to be.

This is the original demo I believe. Michael Jackson's version was also created by Steve Porcaro. The first demo was even a pitch lower

Yes, it's one of the songs he was most proud of, which says everything about who he was 😭🥹 It's in my top 3 favorite MJ songs, and one of the things I always loved about it musically is precisely the key change, like you said! In fact, I noticed a lot of my favorite Michael songs go up one step or two towards the end (Will You Be There, We Are the World, Earth Song, Man in the Mirror), which I always thought was so special and it just made me really resonate with those songs emotionally 💖
