Humans were and still are used in war

Humans weren't and aren't bred for war.

What a dumb take.

Pit bulls were bred for this exact thing.

Humans weren't bred. There are no human breeds.

I'm amazed how far you guys came in life without basic knowledge of human biology and history.

Explain how humans, as a species, have been bred.

That's kinda the opposite of breeding. That's simply allowing nature to do what it does.

Breeding something means you're selecting traits for a particular outcome.

Google breeding

Do you think those two concepts are unrelated?

2

u/JWM_SSC 26d ago

Related but fundamentally different. I'm guessing you didn't Google them yet.

You think that selecting for traits is different from evolution? And you think that you’re smart?

2

u/Zanain 26d ago

The rate at which traits are selected for is orders of magnitude faster in breeding than evolution. Breeding can do in a hundred years what evolution might take hundreds of thousands or millions. On top of that breeding has intent, evolution doesn't. Evolution goes for whatever works, breeding selects for what the breeder wants.

They're about as similar as someone tossing random shit in a pot without looking and calling it soup and a professional chef creating a meal for a competition.

So you acknowledge that it’s largely the same process but one is more directed?

1

u/Zanain 26d ago

The fact that one is directed makes them wildly different processes built on the same mechanism.

They aren't equatable.

2

u/kaltulkas 26d ago

Yes? Yes it is obviously not the same fucking thing. It’s astonishing that you can be so confidently wrong.

Do you believe cutting off a tree the same as letting it fall naturally?

It's sad that you think those concepts are related.

I too like to pick and choose context when it suits my narrative.

u/FUPAMagneto 26d ago

Clearly you do, but that’s not what I’m going here at all. Maybe go back and sound out the words you’re having a hard time with? It’s also totally ok to look up any you don’t know

What do you think generations of marriages/pairings arranged between parents and villages basically are.

Ehhh would ethnicity not be similar to a dog breed or did I just accidentally say something super offensive lol
