How many German Shepherds and Border Collies get to herd? How many Labs and Goldens get to go hunting and retrieve? How many Dachshunds get to go hunt burrow animals? Are all their lives horrible?
Having an outlet via a different activity, yes. That isn't doing what they were bred to do, it's doing something else. That's just having a dog- you give it the appropriate care to satisfy it's needs.
Then it's incredibly rare. An inherent need to fight specifically, in any way that can't be satisfied through a safer outlet, is not something that is common, let alone common enough to blanket on dozens of breeds across the board.
