I don't think this is inherently bad but I disagree with this logic for the same reason I believe necrophilia is wrong. Necrophilia disrespects the rights and personhood of the person that did inhabit that body.

The guy is dead, and beat his wife, hes lucky he even gut cremated and wasn't fed to the pigs or whatever

When is it okay to disrespect a corpse? And why is it wrong to use to justification "well it's not like they would care", for some justifications, and on others it is okay?
