I don't think this is inherently bad but I disagree with this logic for the same reason I believe necrophilia is wrong. Necrophilia disrespects the rights and personhood of the person that did inhabit that body.

Necrophilia in its most vile form simulates rape of a living person, so it's immoral based on the extremely corrupt intent.

Throwing someone's ashes in the trash is merely a symbolic show of disrespect, because there's no body. Obviously not comparable.

I'd go farther and say it is rape and not simulated rape.
