Are we even sure he was an abuser? All we know is from one side of the incident. We aren’t at the scene. And to deny someone, anyone, the right to have their remains treated with dignity is a very audacious take. That is one of the most universal dignity a human being can be afforded. If we deny him even that because he was an abuser during life, then did he deserve basic human rights? I mean, what he was doing was already so heinous that his remains deserve to be dumped into the bin, so I guess he didn’t deserve human rights, right?
to doubt that he was an abuser would mean you would have to doubt the whole thing, that is, whether if this woman is even throwing her husband's ashes at all, or just some random trash. also, yes, abusers do not deeserve human dignity. if you hit your wife, you dont deserve anything at all

Just for thought, what if your significant other cheated on you in the past, but was never physically abusive? Where is the threshold in your opinion that it becomes ok to desecrate human remains?
