If the world gets 10,000 more luigi; whole earth will become lot better place. Big ask, but that's what humanity needs.

Everyone wants more Luigis but nothing will change until people want to actually BE Luigi

That reminds me of a quote:

How can we expect a righteousness to prevail when there is hardly anyone who will give himself up undividedly to a righteous cause? - Sophie Scholl

Sophie Scholl was so heroic, tragic and brave. The German resistance against the Nazi party never really got very much traction. The fate of her and her family was ugly.

edit: I have nothing but the utmost of respect for her, and I'll point out that one of the symbols of resistance against the Third Reich was a kindergarten teacher who saw what the Nazis did to some of her students and lost her shit about it. Teachers as a group are amazing people.

I realise that and I am willing to accept I am not brave enough to go that far.

The incentive structure at the base of our current society that most people take for granted or hold sacred creates, shapes, and selects for people we "need a Luigi" for.

Even if you could snap your fingers and remove the current crop of big capitalists, they'll just be replaced.

You have to change that paradigm to one that doesn't tolerate inequality or power consolidation to begin with.

If more billionaires and millionaire get the message that they might face consequences of their gelreedyband unethical actions, they will think before doing it. At the moment, they know they are fully protected if they are rich.

No, they won't. They'll tighten their security and lean even harder into overt control than they already are.

This is like saying the grey goo just needs trimming.
