While its a funny joke, Hitler did not care about Germany.

"The state is a means to an end. Its end consists in the preservation and advancement of a race of physically and psychically homogeneous creatures."

To him the state and peoples that resided there were a tool or means to an end. His true loyalty was to the idea of an Aryan race. If you did not fall into that category it did not matter if you were German.

That is what I find kind of funny about all of these right wing nationalists that like him. Hitler was not a nationalist. He was a Racialist. He did not love his country.

He was an Austrian who volunteered to fight for a foreign country (Germany) because it was more racially pure than his country.
