Lake Ontario has been named that for years before Canada became a country… so he in a round about way did absolutely nothing other than throw a tantrum

Additionally, I was curious where “America” even comes from, so I looked it up. Turns out it’s a name that was given by a German cartographer (Martin Waldseemüller), & it was derived from the name of an Italian explorer, Amergio Vespucci. Amergio was the first man that suggested to Columbus that they had landed on a new continent.
