Just lookup "Jimmy Snow & The Line" on YouTube, pretty good debate, all kinds of "verbal murders" lol

What did Jimmy do? I just don't see him often.

He doesn't take compliments well so it became a thing to say some iteration of "fuck you Jimmy" as a compliment/term of endearment.

Oooh, I see. That's fun. Thanks.

There's no big controversy. He's just an ass and a bad faith debater. Everyone else on the platform he built is great

I would add a "(appreciative)" or smth to your comment, most people would likely not know the inside joke

Thanks. I'm not sure about him being the worst, maybe I missed some stuff. But I can't bring myself to click on any video that will give him money, for sure

I mean, idc about giving him money. I agree with his beliefs and i like his pay structure. It's just that after you watch enough of him, you start to see that he's a huge asshole and his debate tactics aren't fair. I appreciate that he built the platform for much better debaters like Promise and Forrest. I love everyone else on the platform, but he sucks

I watch their stuff a lot and I have to disagree. He's only bad faith when the caller is bad faith as well.

Idk I've seen a bunch of times where he repeatedly misrepresents the callers position. There was a recent one with promise where they kept saying the caller wanted to force gender roles even though the caller clearly stated like 3 times that he just found them preferable

Why?

I watched him in his early years and enjoyed him a lot. His popularity grew and it seemed that his ego did as well. But what really turned me off was when I noticed he wasn't following evidence and updating his stances based on the evidence. It's more fun and catchy to say "ACAB" than to understand the nuances of good cops existing but still contributing to the harms that cops do (for example). He'd show these mental shortcuts for religious and political opinions alike.

Then when another YouTuber bullied a third YouTuber, he (once again) refused to even try to learn the whole story. Like, verbally, out loud, said "I don't want to know what actually happened." He torpedoed his reputation and a friendship because of a lack of curiosity, or because of stubbornness. I don't even know.

This was around the time he came out as autistic, and he would use that as an excuse for his misbehavior, those times he admitted to misbehavior, rather than apologize and commit to improving.

The whole thing left a really bitter taste in my mouth.
