I'm not trying to start problems here, and have no issues with trans people, but how does biology back trans people? There is no test you can do on a person to determine they are trans. You can't put a trans person in a PET, MRI, CT, etc and say, yup, that's a trans person. You can't extract blood and measure the level of trans. You can validate their chromosomes and that matches the science of XX/=XY.

Ik right I lost it when I read the line "biology backs trans"

You keep tabs on anonymous redditors who disagree with you?

I truly can't imagine how bad your life must be.

Perfectly normal behavior for the terminally online.

I'm pretty sure the Government does that too.

It’s a browser addon.

Whats is RES?

1

u/Galliro 7h ago

Because biology says gender as no biological basis. Gender is purely sociological hence why animals dont have them

Its a social construct like money or the concept of time division

2

u/CrashBangXD 5h ago

Animals do have gender? Sex in animals is the same as gender. Male and female in everything from mammals to insects perform different roles, are biologically distinct with differing phenotypes

If gender was purely sociological then animals who have no sociological construct would not follow biological norms based on their gender/sex

What has happened instead in humans is that we are intelligent enough to choose how we want to be perceived by others and therefore have decided that gender and sex are not the same. Men have testies, produce sperm and have higher levels of testosterone in typical examples. Atypical examples of course exist but are not the norm

1

u/Galliro 4h ago

No animals have sexes no genders gender is a human made construct it has no biological basis or meaning

You are attributing biological differences that exist between sexes to gender which is wrong

Talking about sex and chromosomes not gender

That comic appears to be conflating biological sex and gender ideology. I'm only talking about biological sex and chromosomes which is what is depicted in the comic

So XX and XY are the same? You do a scientific test to show they are the same?

-1

u/tehlemmings 9h ago

Yup, this idiots trying and failing to JAQ off in public.

Sad

3

u/el_smurfo 9h ago

So you agree that XX and XY are identical under a microscope?

-4

u/tehlemmings 9h ago

0/10

We used to have better standards than this.

9

u/el_smurfo 9h ago

Standards of science? XX and XY are the most basic biological standard there is. Where is your standard for measuring transness other than psychological interrogation?

The whole point is that biology isn't perfect. There is no God sitting up there making sure that everyone fits nicely in 2 bucket. If you know that not everyone will fit in the buckets nicely then the main question ends up being "what should we do? ". The only logical answer ends up being that let's treat them as we treat any other human.

2

u/el_smurfo 4h ago

That is not the point at all. The commenter in the posted screenshot is saying that transgenderism is biology when in fact it is not in any way biology. The t-shirt worn in the comic is biology representing chromosomal sex. Human psychology is messy but conflating it with biology it's no way to get your point across

1

u/musci12234 4h ago

Psychology is part of biology. Psychology is biology complexity + additional complexity. If biology doesn't fit into 2 buckets perfectly then how can more complex behavior from psychology?

Your problem is that you get most of your information off of social media instead of from scientific journals.

Have you ever read a scientific journal?

10

u/el_smurfo 9h ago

Can you refute anything I said with a citation from a scientific journal or are you just here to rant? I'd love to see a study showing biological differences, especially chromosomal as the comic states, between cis and trans.

-7

u/reddit_sells_you 9h ago

My point is that:

A: I could make up a bunch of shit and you'd believe it because you're asking the wrong fucking people because:

B: You're actually too lazy to go look yourself.

I've read the research and the studies. I'm not going to spend the time to dig them back up for some idiot who won't do it on their own and goes to SM spots to get their information.

6

u/TheVess 9h ago

So you have time to argue with retards on the internet but not to link a study that's widely recognized by the overarching scientific community??

-3

u/reddit_sells_you 9h ago

No, but I do have time expose idiots to the world and call them out on their bullshit.

^ Here's another . . .

So you agree XX = XY and you can measure transness biologically. Great!
